This was such a cute gift for my 4 year old, he’s not that huge of Ryan fan but he likes pirates and treasure hunts. There are so many fun surprises and toys and the chest is cute with separate compartments and working keys to the entire chest and secret top compartment. I’m not sure why there are so many negative reviews.
Absolutely not worth the price. Luckily we bought this when there was a promo. 95% of the toys are cheap quality, things you'd find in goodie bags. The only thing really worth while is the pirate ship, Ryan figures, and the chest itself - and those are just not worth $80. I think $30-40 would be a fair price. This kid (or his parents, really) is making millions off of impressionable kids. My 4 yo think Ryan is one of his friends, bless his soul! lol Parents, please guide your child to buying something else or at least try to buy in sale.
Save your money! The Putty inside the treasure box ruined my carpet!!

My in-laws bought this for my 3 year old son last year the reason I'm giving this such a low rating is because 1. My son rarely even plays with it and so now its just taking up to much space and feel bad trying to get rid of it since my in-laws paid $80! for it. If I would have known that I would have told them to just return it. 2. When my kids took out the putty if left alone it gives a slime/putty effect which is sticky. Well when my son accidentally dropped it on the floor without me knowing the putty got stuck in our carpet. I've tried everything to get it out but was unsuccessful with getting it all out. So I wanted to make sure to let others know that if you had just bought new carpet either do not let them have it to play near a carpet or just be aware if you are very trusting of your child that this will happen to you. and finally 3. The toys inside are so cheap that I find it insane that they charged $80 for this the least they could do was actually include a full legit costume and decent sized toys inside. I'm sorry but I highly would not recommend this product.
Chest is a little pricey, but if your child is a Ryan fan and you have watched the videos with your child you will be 100% satisfied. Everything is exactly as shown on the videos. My 4 1/2 year old loves its and I was not disappointed. He now stores his Ryan figures and other Ryan items in the chest. This is by far my favorite Ryan item purchased.
I only bought this because my 4 yr old son really wanted it I had a feeling it was going to be lame. Not worth the money for dollar store quality items inside. He got bored with it in one day. Darn you Ryan!!
My 5 year old loves Ryan's Toy Review so he "had to have this" for Christmas. I really didn't want to spend the money on it because the other toys we've bought in the past broke almost right after taking them out of the package. I will say the quality seems to be going up. This came with several surprises in the top shelf of the treasure chest, there were surprises underneath the shelf and also a key that unlocks the top of the chest that reveals a hat, sword and sash. The chest itself is decent quality and we've been using for storage of other things. My little one loved it and I did get it on sale. I don't know that it's worth $80 but I will say the toys aren't as cheap as the ones in the past.
