I love this stuff been using for years. The natural ingredients don’t irritate my sensitive combination skin. I like being able to identify all ingredients in my skincare. I apply to cotton balls. Pretty expensive but.

I started using this as a toner but I felt it stripped a little too much from my skin. I'm very oily but only get small, inconsistent breakouts here and there. It's actually a great spot treatment for breakouts and I've switched to using it for that purpose instead. I also took away a star for the price since it's definitely pricey for what it is.

I've been using this toner for years and I will never go back to anything different! I have very sensitive skin & my skin LOVES this! Plus it works really well & I love the clean ingredient list.

I’m not going to dock a star for the smell but be aware that the odor of this product is foul beyond belief. The good news is that it doesn’t last long at all and is TOTALLY WORTH IT. I’ve tried my fair share of toners but this one takes the cake. My skin feels AMAZING after using this. I use this 2x a day and my sensitive skin loooves it. I’m so glad I gave it a try.

I have struggled with finding something that won’t irritate my skin and this is holy water!!!! You would think that Apple cider vinegar would burn but .. it didn’t!!! The dry patches on my face are smooth and moisturized and my t-zone is no longer oily!! Yes it’s expensive and the bottle is small but it doesn’t take much. I have used it everyday for 7 weeks. Better to buy something expensive that works and use it all than to pay $5 for something you have to throw out. I pray they never discontinue.

I love the simple ingredients in all SW Basics products. This toner has helped clear up my sensitive skin and I have been using it for several years. The smell isn't fantastic as it's made with apple cider vinegar but it's certainly not too strong and goes away quickly. I appreciate their commitment to the environment by utilizing glass bottles and that the company is continuing to work on the lid which is a metal screw cap. It can sometimes cause rust, but the newer bottles have a coating that prevents the rust. This coating sometimes flakes off as well so I have to wipe the top of the bottle before using. Overall, not a major issue that would prevent me from using it the product. Hopefully, they will find something that works better soon.

This stuff stinks to high heaven! I can’t wait until it’s gone! Sure, my skin looks good. I can’t say this has anything to do with it, as I really don’t notice a difference when I can’t brave the stench and rusty cap, so I skip it. Never before has the smell of a product felt so much like punishment that not only does it make me not want to use it, it makes me dread washing my face. I will finish the bottle because it wasn’t cheap, but I will definitely never buy this again. Not with someone else’s money and a stolen face. Nope.

I love this toner, it has helped my skin tremendously. I have hormonal acne & it has helped reduce swelling, dark spots & active acne.

Soooo glad I discovered this toner! Can't live without it now. I was having a lot of trouble with break-outs and unevenness in my skin tone. This SW Basics Toner has been a life saver. I use it twice a day, after I wash my face with cleanser. The smell is kind of strong and takes a little getting used to. However, it doesn't stay on your face and usually goes away within a few minutes. I prefer this toner to the rose water toner by SW Basics, because it seems more effective with acne and redness. However, if you just have sensitive skin I would go with the rose water toner.

Great organic toner!! When I put it on after using the SW Basic's Cleanser and I can instantly feel it working on my face! I did use this alone without using the Cleanser before and I broke out, but decided to try both the Cleanser and Toner together and it works great, I don't break out at all. I think this is a great price point, but I do go through it fast so I have to get a new one every month, but $20 isn't so bad for an organic toner that actually works! My face loves it :)

I heard about this product and decided to try it. I have very oil skin and prone to breakouts. I tried this product and ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!! It worked great for me and I have tried several acne/oil control products. It did not over dry my skin. Some people say it does, but I leave my face a little wet and then apply it. I had a bump on my face and it was gone in two days. I love how it reduced the oil and breakouts!! I love the fact that it's all natural, I have very sensitive skin and it didn't irritate my skin at all. I definitely recommend this product!! It's a little pricey, but worth it.

I love this toner! It does have a strong vinegar smell, which is not for everyone, but the smell dissipates quickly (your friends won't notice it), and the toner leaves my skin looking bright and healthy.

I bought this toner after following the brand on social media for some time. I decided to splurge and drop the $22 to give this a try, even though I rarely deviate from my normal skin care routine. I have cystic acne, and have been using Dickinson's witch hazel toner after my face wash, morning and night, for the past five years. Since this had witch hazel in it, and was all natural with only five ingredients, I figured it would be my new favorite product. I couldn't have been more wrong. When I opened the bottle for the first time, I was put off by the smell but decided that the aroma was a small sacrifice to make for good skin. After about two weeks of using this morning and evening, after washing with a gentle cleaners, I noticed that my skin was breaking out like crazy. Additionally, my skin always felt like it was dirtier after putting the toner on -- there was a weird residue that always followed application, and the scent was just terrible. A week or so into use, I washed my face, used the toner, and then decided to see what came off afterwards with some micellar water. There was still remnants of makeup and oil. I tried this out with my witch hazel toner, just to see, and nothing came off. So, needless to say, this toner wasn't doing much for me. Aside from the smell and ineffectiveness, the cap became rusty within the two weeks of use, and the smell just became more potent over time. Each time I used the toner, there would be a rust ring on my cotton pad. I read on the brand's website that this isn't harmful to the skin, which I find very hard to believe. Rubbing my rust and vinegar all over my skin is off putting, and I would rather use a product that is both effective and offers sufficient packaging. I wouldn't recommend this if you have oily/acne prone skin. Although the natural, simple ingredients are nice, they aren't very effective. Additionally, I personally don't want to walk around all day smelling like vinegar.

I can honestly say that this has improved my skin. I don't think any product can fix what ails you 100% but it certainly can improve it. I have had acne prone skin my entire life, right now I am not getting consistent breakouts but I am getting clogged pores. I have been using this toner for just over a week and I absolutely see an improvement in the texture of my skin. YES, it smells like salad dressing. If you use moisturizer the smell will dissipate once you apply it. If not, it will within a few minutes. I genuinely do not believe this should be a deterrent from using the product, it is not that serious of an issue for something that works. Additionally, I have sensitive skin and this did not bother me in the slightest. My only complaint is the fact that it is so expensive for a 4 oz jar that does not last long. In reality, it should be half the price for what you are getting.

This product is helping to control my acne, thank goodness! The only downside for me is the smell. It's literally like applying vinegar to your face. I'm a fan of vinegar so it's not too bad, but having it on your face is an entirely different story than consuming it. It takes some getting used to!

Absolutely amazing for my acne prone skin! It is totally worth every penny.

This is my all time favorite toner. Makes my skin feel so soft and clean. Love it.
