Not expected taste
Unexpectedly flavor. Pretzels are thin and dry, reminiscent of cardboard. Doesn’t taste acidic, doesn’t leave an aftertaste. Storage is fine, likely has a decent amount of preservatives.

decent hummus, horrible packaging
OK, Sabra, sorry for the two-star rating and for the rating at all as I typically don't do this, but your packaging is so beyond bad that it could no longer be ignored. I rely on this snack at work -- specifically the roasted red pepper flavor as the other flavors are too bitter for my liking. This flavor hummus is pretty good and hits the spot for my mid-afternoon snacking needs. HOWEVER, 1) the ratio of pretzles to hummus is totally off. Please provide more pretzels. Also, if there's a way to re-design the packaging so that it protects the pretzels from breaking into tiny little pretzel pieces (which are not conducive to hummus scooping), that'd be even better, which brings me to my second and most important point: THE PACKAGING IS INFURIATING for someone who has all ten fingers, decent grip strength and is relatively coordinated. Can you imagine how someone who does not have these luxuries (for example, my mother who has horrible arthritis or my older colleagues who don't even attempt to open this snack anymore). The packaging is not friendly to even the average person, so who does it work for? Anyway, I am sorry for this incredibly long message, but I was so annoyed I had to make my feelings known.

Conveniently tasty
I loooove these. Have not had one in awhile because I rarely pack my meals but when I have I felt there was a generous amount of hummus included and Sabra is by far my favorite brand. There’s enough to make a meal if you add another protein source and a fruit or combine this with a hard boiled egg and some carrots or celery for a filling and healthy snack. My point is that there is a good size serving you can use multiple ways and the crackers are just a good addition.

Acrid Taste and Terrible Packaging
Okay, so either just add a tiny dot of glue or add a tearable notch to the red plastic rim to allow for easier separation. Otherwise I'll need to keep using a pry bar to get to the sweet sweet and acrid tasting hummus. The hummus has too much citric acid along with the sodium bicarbonate that gives it a bitter and acidic flavor that lingers on the back of the tongue.

The taste is horrible! I actually googled it because it’s so bad and found multiple reviews saying the same thing. It tastes like strong chemicals and the taste lingers in your mouth. Either a bad batch or terrible recipe update.
