A classic choice for your kitchen or bar, this set of two backless Saddle Seat Barstools from Inspire Q features solid rubberwood construction and a comfortable curved seat. The honey oak wood finish coordinates with a variety of color schemes to boost fun and style to your space. with their compact size, you can easily tuck the stools away when not in use. The stools would accent a home with a casual style. These stools are the perfect way to add additional seating to your dining area! Assembly required.
Great stool! I was thinking about getting a dining bench for the kids but decided on these instead. They are sturdy, I sit on them and have no problems. They were easy to put together. I did need a man to tighten the screws all the way, but other than that, no problem putting it together. I love it and the kids love it too!
Make sure to look closely at the top of these barstools before purchasing! They have ugly black rectangles sprayed on top to make it look like that is where the legs come through. They also have one deep "scratch" in the middle, along with a few on the edges to make them look rustic and worn. The color was great, and they looked solid, but the seat is very ugly.
Good looking product when completed. Had issues with hardware. Next time I'll use soap on thread. Also wood bolt caps were very tight fit. Tried several times. Had to go buy pads for feet. No pads came with product
I purchased the 18" version of these stools on an online sale, which makes them a good value for the money. However, they were challenging to put together just because the pieces weren't aligned as nicely as other make-it-yourself furniture I've purchased. It took a lot of arm strength to muscle the crossbeams into place on the base of the stool. The instructions recommend periodically tightening the screws after use, but there's no way to get to the screws after putting in the "wood" (actually plastic) buttons. Also, the buttons will fall out and get lost unless you add a drop of superglue. It's functional, but don't expect any luxury out of this product.
Just what I was looking for... we have a peninsula that's an odd height (a few inches lower than counter height), so we needed something not too tall or too short. These stools definitely fit the bill. Not only do they work well in my kitchen, but they are sturdy, have a "natural" looking distressed feel and closely matched the color description online. I got these while they were on sale, so I couldn't beat the price and free shipping! Definitely worth a try...
I purchased these stools to go with a table I already had. The assembly was not difficult, however what made it a nightmare was the inferior allen wrench they provided you with. It broke after one stool was assembled and I had to go buy another one to finish the assembly. Overall, once assembled I was happy with the quality but for the price.....they need to provide a real steel allen wrench.
