I switched to Safeguard from Dial because Dial changed their formula and now it makes all their customers itch like crazy and break out in a rash. Safeguard is still the same soap I remember. Although they may have changed to size of the bar to a little smaller, it's still the same great formula that doesn't make me itch or break out and makes oceans of suds.

I bought this in hopes to feel clean, but this item is harsh on my skin. I don’t know if it’s the scent or overall chemical makeup, but its made me develop itchy patches and rashes on my body:(

I couldn’t even use this soap. The smell was so strong I didn’t get it out of the wrapper before deciding I was going to not use it. I may just donate it. Hopefully someone else can handle the strong fragrance.

I could smell the scent all the way through the plastic wrapper and small boxes that it comes in. I imagine its packaged like that so you didn't contaminate any of the other bars when reaching in to get another one ,which I personally like. When I put the soap into the water it really released that wonderful clean,fresh smell. After getting the bar wet it lathered up with lots of bubbles and rinsed very clean. After drying off is when you notice the aloe. My skin was amazingly soft ,not that dry tight feeling you can get from other soaps,especially the ones that are supposed to be antibacterial. I sometimes believe that some think that antibacterial = harsh. Not this one. I will definitely be buying more in the future.

I like that it has a silky soft lather and a nice light scent. It lathers well and rinses clean leaving me feeling fresh. I do notice a light scent after showering with the Safeguard bar soap. It's a nice scent and isn't very strong and I didn't feel like my skin was dried out. This is a good bar soap for anyone looking for a good lather, clean rinsing soap that doesn't leave your skin feeling dry.

You can tell it is more moisturizing than other soaps. It has a mild scent which I don't care much for, but it isn't overpowering so I can ignore that. I think others would probably like the scent. It just isn't my favorite. It does appear to clean well and does not leave a film behind. All in all, I think this is a terrific soap at a decent price. I would purchase it again.

It is very strong to me and my whole family, but it doesn't seem as strong while in use or after. The smell is there, but not as strong as it just sitting in the box. We all felt really dry afterwards, but it wasn't an overly dry skin feeling and it didn't seem to last, as in we had to moisturize or discontinue use. You did feel clean, so the washes away bacteria was nice. Especially after a day out exploring. All in all it seems like a really great product, maybe if the scent could be toned down a bit, that might help. I really like the wash away bacteria feature. That was a plus. The packaging looks nice and I would recommend this product and would also like to explore other scents, as well.

The bar lasted through a lot of uses. They cleaned well and did not dry out my skin. It left it felling cleansed and hydrated. I will be buying this soap in the future and look forward to seeing the other varieties.
