I disagree with all the criticism about antibacterial soap. They kill bacteria more effectively than plain soap. You don't have to use it everyday but at least three times a week to kill staph and other bacteria. SAFEGUARD had been proven all around the world to lower the incidents of illnesses lik...see moreof the reviewer's review

There are only 2 soaps that don't give me trouble with dry, itchy skin: this one and Dr. Bronner's. And on a daily use basis, the Safeguard is a small fraction of the cost of the Bronner's. But it's getting harder and harder to find--I suspect because of its antibacterial additives which have gotten...see moreof the reviewer's review

I had been buying aNother brand of antibacterial soap, but it was very expensive. I decided to try Safeguard as I have used it in the past. I am glad I did! It smells heavenly, and works just as well as the more expensive brand. You also get almost 3 times as many for less money. It is an excellent ...see moreof the reviewer's review

I concur with other reviewers who support the health benefits of this soap over others. I have a Master of Public Health and have also previously had MRSA infections. I was encouraged at that time to wash regularly with Safeguard or to soak in a bath with a cup of bleach. I'm already pasty an hav...see moreof the reviewer's review

I loved Lever2000 soap but was afraid to buy it after seeing so many bad reviews of the new formula. I figured this was a safe substitute; the problem is the smell is overpowering. I brought 4 bars in their little boxes into the bathroom to store. And while they were near me, the smell was so strong...see moreof the reviewer's review

There are two different soaps pictured. One is antibacterial, one is not. Appears Target caved to the pressure and is selling the non-antibacterial version as the same thing. The soap is fine, just not as advertised.
