About this item

Rechecking temperatures is easy with the Safety 1st Quick Read 2-in-1 Thermometer. Parents often like to double check a temperature when their baby is sick, but all digital thermometers should rest between readings to ensure accuracy. The helpful 60 second Reset Timer lets you know that the thermometer has reset and is ready for a second reading. Choose between oral or underarm mode and with a fast 8-second reading, you'll know quickly whether your little one has an elevated temperature. The large display is easy to read and the Fever Light™ Bar will glow amber if an above normal temperature is detected. The Quick Read thermometer includes a fever chart printed directly on the back panel of the thermometer for easy reference.

If giving this thermometer ZERO stars was an option I would, my 18 month old has had a fever the last 2 days & I rushed her to the urgent care after getting several readings of 105! I was incredibly concerned cause even with ibuprofen the temp was reading 104. Suspicious that this thermometer may be...see moreof the reviewer's review

It works really fast and it’s flexible and bends easy. I bought it for my newborn. It’s a fraction of the price of similar ones and we really like it. It’s easy to use, has a memory function and you can switch between Fahrenheit and celcius. Easy to clean. It also has a little light that indicates a...see moreof the reviewer's review

It’s quick and flexible. However, it’s frequently gets stuck after taking a temperature such that it won’t turn off or allow you to retake a temperature until it turns off by itself after a minute.

Terrible! This thermometer essential caused my 5week old to be hospitalized and give numerous tests including a spinal tap! I checked her temp using this and it said she's had a high fever. My pediatrician immoderately no had me bring her to the ER where she had no fever but because I got that high ...see moreof the reviewer's review

Save yourself the panic attack and don't use this on your child. I was ready to rush my daughter to the hospital when this thing read 106.5 until my husband brought out a different thermometer. Sure enough, she has a fever, but nowhere near that high! I'm glad we had another one on hand and didn't s...see moreof the reviewer's review

I bought 2 of these a few weeks ago to have on hand. My daughter was sick this week so I opened one. It is accurate when reading normal temperatures, but once the temperature is elevated it is no longer accurate. I was getting readings of 105 frequently and even got temps of 106.7 on two occasions! ...see moreof the reviewer's review
