A: We do not recommend storing SAMBAZON Superfruit Packs in the refrigerator as this may cause the product to leak out of the seams in the packet. Our Superfruit Packs are designed to be stored frozen and we recommend tempering it for no more than 15 minutes before blending.

A: Absolutely, you can eat the packet unblended and frozen! I personally give my kids the frozen bar of Acai to eat as a substitution for ice cream when I don't have the time to blend and when they are in need for a quick snack (which happens quite often LOL). Hope that helps :) - Seb

Way too much sugar added. 12g of added sugar or 24% daily recommendation per packet is way too high for a product marketed as healthy. Especially if you are blending fruits with natural sugars. It wouldn't be a big deal if the unsweetened version was in stock.

I am on low sugar diet. People sugar is poison, no matter cane or plain. Purchased yesterday thinking its not sweet, I did not realize that the original is so sweet. Don't know what to do with it and its quite expensive. Waste of money.

Thank you for your feedback. Açaí itself is unique in that it is one of the only fruits that do not contain natural sugar. Adding a small amount of organic sweetener brings out all the wonderful flavors of the Açaí berry- much like when sugar is added to unsweetened chocolate. We do have Pure Unsweetened Frozen Acai Packets: https://www.sambazon.com/pure-unsweetened-superfruit-pack/ The product has zero sugar and is great for blending your own smoothies & bowls.
