Could be great but 32” model is lacking.

I recently purchased the 32” frame tv. It has all the features I’ve been looking for! I wanted a device to act more as an art display than a steaming tv. The frame has a matte display (I was using a computer monitor to achieve this before). It mounts just like an artwork with its narrow bezel frame. Art mode works great, it plays my own videos from a remote cabinet along with its mini one connect box. Sound is good, integrates with my doorbell camera etc. and it streams content. BUT… I had to buy the 32” model because I simply didn’t have a wall big enough for even the 44” model. Not everyone wants or can use a big tv! Sadly the 32” version of the frame tv is lacking the quality of the larger versions. The picture quality is great straight on but even at a slight 25 degree angle it gets washed out (QLED not the better OLED) . Other folks have noted that the 32 inch model also lacks other features the larger ones have…no motion detection and the one connect box is the mini version that only has a 7’ long thick cord and lacks a coaxial port. Hey Samsung, why cheap out on this smaller model of the frame! So sad, so frustrating.

lnans, I’m sorry to hear of the confusion regarding the 32" Frame TV specifications. Please know this model uses a One Connect Mini Box with its' own cable and does not feature a motion sensor. A full-sized One Connect Box, 5m One Invisible Connection Cable, built-in motion sensor, as well as Wide Viewing Angle technology are all available starting with our 43" Frame TV and above. There is no where when purchasing the television that it comes with a box (brain) in order to have the frame effect you will need to put a hole in your wall to hide such box. I am returning right away.

Hi Unhappy, I'm very sorry to hear of this misunderstanding. Please know The Frame TV uses a One Connect Box which allows you to connect your external devices without having any unsightly wires dangling from the TV. The Frame TV is connected to the One Connect Box with the One Invisible Connection – a translucent cable allowing you to place your TV accessories wherever works best for you Should you ever decide to give Samsung TVs another try and have questions or need help with settings, setup, or features, please know we’re here to help. Dumbest mounting template ever

1 out of 5 stars

The mounting template has ruined this tv for me. There are three arrows on the mounting template for whether you are using a vertical or horizontal mount. In my foolishness I thought the center arrow could be used as a centering guideline for either position. I was wrong now I have to do surgery on my walls to remove my anchors because if removed normally (letting them drop behind the wall) they would fall on the firebox and potentially cause a fire. For some reason the 43" mount is super specific and does not have any horizontal play like a normal French cleat mount would. Seriously why is there no centerline on this freaking template!!!! Tv itself is fine though, but it doesn't really look like a picture at night.

Warning - does not use the Frame invisible cable

Does not come with the 5m "invisible" cable. Comes with a 2m thick ugly cable that requires you to place the "one connect" box near the screen. The workaround is to reqire your wall with a media enclosure behind the TV. Totally baffling design choice by Samsung

do not buy 32 inch if you want hidden cables

Just opened the box for a 32 inch frame tv model QN32LS03BBF and discovered that it does NOT include a 5 meter "invisible" cable and has its own short thick cable that you can't buy longer versions of, plus it's incompatible with all other models. The whole point of this tv is to not see the cable and to run the connection box in a different area of the room. Why would they do this? I'm also now reading that it does not have the motion sensor either. This product should not be listed under the same name as the other sizes. It's not a "frame" tv like the others. I'm already disappointed and I haven't even plugged it in yet. What a waste of time and energy.

Looks great, good quality picture. But the software it runs is terrible. It's laggy and crash-prone despite a fast, wired internet connection. Even "hard resets" are a hit-and-miss solution. We never had these problems with our Roku and, if we wanted to go back, we'd always have to "select" it as an input rather than just controlling the TV directly from the roku remote like we used to. unfortunately the sleek one invisible cable that was included with our purchase of the 65" samsung frame is no longer manufactured and does not exist for the 2022 32" samsung frame. it is a thick gray cable that will be exposed unless hidden inside your wall. in my opinion, it negates the intent of the frame and i would not purchase again.

i just purchased the 75 inch fram tv. the picture quality is great. the sound is actually very good for such a thin tv. i was pleasantly surprised that the tv comes with over 50 complementary arts to choose from for the art mode. my biggest issue has to do with the "art mode". when the tv goes into art mode, it stays on for a few minutes, then the tv goes off. i tried updating the software, turning up motion detector, turning off the sleep mode etc. with no luck. this issue seems to be a common problem with this tv and i hope samsung resolves it soon.

Artwork is awesome. TV picture is awesome. Problem is it won't go flush. Read all the instructions and tips where its suppose to "click" in place as you press down from the top for the mounts to sink or flush in place. It's not happening. If I push down any harder or back it would rip this off the wall or break the TV. Like 3/4" gap between the wall and TV because the mount won't go flush.
1 reply from Samsung Brand Ambassador team - 2 months ago
Roderico, We appreciate you sharing your experience when mounting The Frame TV. When mounted with the Slim Fit Wall Mount, it is designed to sit flush against the wall; however, please keep in mind that a small gap between the wall and TV may occur if wall is not 100% flat or is constructed off-angle to the floor or if installed incorrectly. Arrived in June. Dead by November. We’ve gone three weeks and counting without a replacement. Looks great on the wall, otherwise total garbage. I wouldn’t buy a Samsung phone so I should have known better. Buggy, slow, gets stuck in Art mode. I’ve had to flip the breaker to turn the thing off twice since I can’t access the power button as we put the console in the drywall behind the TV. Do not buy. Not worth it.

Go to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care We also would like to apologize for the confusion - the power button is not located on the One Connect Box and can still be accessed regardless of where you've placed the box. In fact, there are two ways to power on/off your Frame TV: 1. Using the Power button on your remote. Press once to switch to Art mode; press again to return to Media Home. Press and hold to turn off the TV completely. 2. Using the TV Controller button on your TV (located beneath the Samsung logo). In addition to power, this button will allow for volume, source, and channel changes as well. I hope these tips help you enjoy your new product. I’ve had this TV for less than a year and I’m already facing issues with the audio and video not being in sync. And on top of that, the software lags. Sometimes button clicks take forever to load. However, the audio and video quality is amazing. And the artwork really does look like art, especially with a bevel. It’s a shame that their software makes using it frustrating.

The movement sensor doesn't work. 32" comes with a horribly creased 2m proprietary cable, not the 5m cable the larger screens come with. And I say specifically proprietary because it's NOT COMPATIBLE with the cables the larger screens use. Does not come with hardware for mounting in drywall, even though 95% of US homes are drywall. Convoluted Samsung software is a nightmare, can't do simple casting. Art behind a paywall and no easy way to put your own photos. But its the only screen that fits where I need...
1 reply from Samsung Brand Ambassador team - 2 months ago
Kaijin, I’m sorry to hear of the confusion you’ve experienced regarding the specifications of Samsung’s 32” Frame TV. Please know the 32" Frame is only compatible with its included cable and does not feature a motion sensor. An included 5m One Invisible Connection Cable, as well as the built-in motion sensor are both available with our 43" Frame TV and above. Please understand that we do not include wall mount screws or adapters because not every wall will require the same type of hardware. Each customer’s mounting situation can be very different, requiring specific hardware to ensure the best, most secure fit. A generic hardware type included in the box might be inappropriate for a customer’s wall; the result could be the customer inadvertently mounting their TV insecurely. To improve your casting experience, please be sure your Frame TV's firmware is up to date with the latest version. You can check this by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update. You may also want to further optimize performance with the self-diagnostic tool, which checks memory, frees up unused cached memory, and closes background apps. Go to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care Lastly, please know there are two ways you can upload personal photos: via the SmartThings app or from an external storage device. From SmartThings: 1. Download and/or open the SmartThings app on your phone. 2. On your phone, navigate to and open the SmartThings app. Tap the Devices tab, and then tap Add (the plus sign) in the top right corner. 3. Tap Add device and then tap the By brand tab. Tap Samsung, tap TV, and then tap Start to follow the instructions to complete setup. From an external storage device: 1. Connect an external storage device that contains images to the TV. 2. The external device is automatically recognized, and the screen displays a list of image, music, and video files that are stored in the USB memory. You can also go to Menu > Connected Devices and select the external device. 3. Navigate to the folder that contains the image file you want to save to the TV, and then select Options > Send to Art Mode. 4. Select the image and press Send. The image, stored in the external device memory, is saved under Art Mode. I hope these tips help you enjoy your new product. Audio sync problem

This tv would be great except it has an issue with Audio and Video syncing. I have a brand new 75” 2022 frame tv. After about 20 minutes, video and sound get out of sync on all my conning apps, e.g, Netflix, hbo max, prime. None of the advice on the web fixes this issue. I am using arc hdmi with Samsung soundbar but issue persists in all modes. Pausing video fixes it for about 20 minutes but it always starts up again
1 reply from Samsung Brand Ambassador team - 2 months ago
Jz1982, We appreciate your feedback on the lip sync issues you’re experiencing with your Frame TV. This could possibly be a source issue, but if you’re hearing an audio delay across all sources/channels and you have a receiver, soundbar, or other speakers connected to your TV, you can access the Audio Delay settings to increase the audio delay. Go to: Menu > Settings > All Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Digital Output Audio Delay Our 2022 TVs have an audio Pass-Through feature, which allows the audio signal to be sent out unprocessed to an external soundbar or receiver connected to the TV. The external device then processes the audio, thereby eliminating the added step of processing by the TV, which adds delay. On your TV, go to: Menu > Settings > All Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Digital Audio Output Format > Pass-Through Please also be sure you’re running the latest firmware. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to: Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update. If you’ve tried these steps and your issue persists, please contact us for troubleshooting and a Support agent will gladly assist. You can reach us at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8AM - 12AM EST, 7 days a week.
