Overall, it's not a bad a phone. I haven't had any battery issues like some others are saying, but have only had it for about a month. The vibration is weak. And I've missed a few phone calls because I couldn't feel it going off. Camera is great.

I'm in the probationary period with a first time Samsung product, and with more use I'm getting more convinced to return it and get another brand: - 4 system updates within 24 hours of receipt - I set up biometrics at the start, and after the 4th system update, I had to set it up again as it wouldn't recognize the fingerprints. I hope is this isn't a continual annoyance. - UGLY HOME SCREEN and Samsung expects the solution is get a 3rd party app that give wide storage access to fix what other manufactures do out of the box! I know what the apps are on my home screen. I don't need the names underneath cluttering the screen, and it's unreasonable that Samsung relies on extended app suppliers to fix what should be in Settings. - the Samsung keyboard is too tall and takes unnecessary space. - I turned on aggressive spam blocking and am receiving more spam calls than the prior phone. Apparently, I didn't know how good I had it. - Samsung spams. I avoid apps that pop up adds to buy, why does Samsung think they need to? - It's been less than a day and I miss my flashlight gesture. Yes, I can get a 3rd party app to do it, but why isn't this built in? Just one more app to add to get on par with more adds :( - So far the phone is fast, but other manufactures are too. All the above is in less than 14 hours and I was asleep 8 of those. Perhaps the underlying hardware is top notch, but the user interface is behind the competition.

I have had the Galaxy S22+ for about 3 weeks now and so far I like most of what the phone has to offer. The screen is crystal clear, it is really fast, and I am just learning how to use some of the features such as split screen which is really cool. Despite what many have said the battery life has been really good. I watch a lot of YouTube and other videos and I have battery left at the end of the day! There are 2 items that I have found so far that denote the reduction of 1 star from the review, those are the finger print unlock function and the bottom speaker. To put it politely, the finger print scanner is just terrible, rarely ever works. I have deleted my finger print and performed the process again, turned up the increased touchscreen sensitivity, and still works terribly. This is very disappointing as I use that function on most all apps that require security. I previously had a Pixel 3xl, which is a 4 year old phone, and that fingerprint scanner worked flawlessly which makes this that much more disappointing. Concerning the speaker, the bottom speaker will randomly sound like the speaker is blown. From my opinion it appears to be a software issue as you can restart the phone and the speaker works perfectly again. From some research I have done this has been an issue since the phone was originally released in 2022. I would think that Samsung would have been able to create a patch for this by now. Overall I am so far satisfied with the phone and would recommend it if you are willing to deal with the few downfalls of the phone.

I bought this device a year ago. I love the squared design aspect of the S22. The sharp edges of the camera bump may cause some uncomfortable if holding the phone in a certain way. I didn't use the phone excessively. Therefore, the battery life is still good even after a year of usage (for an average of 3-4 hours of screen-on-time per day). The system algorithm is still showing me more than 22 hours of usage with a full charge. The camera and the processing power are more than enough for daily use, but one can definitely feel the heat after half-hour of the video calls. Overall is a decent purchase for me with all the extra credits and trade-in values.

Battery drains fast. The phone will never lay flat, the camera lens area has a plastic ridge. No 3.5mm jack. Ear buds pretty much the norm. Never liked the Bixby button.

I like the galaxy phones. Its pretty basic and easy to use. The only thing that sucks is the battery life. I had my old galaxy for 4 years so of course the battery was getting old. This new model however holds poor batter life just the same. It was a shock to get a new phone and the battery situation didn't improve

I traded in my S9 for a S22. I miss my S9. S22 battery seems to drain quicker, they've removed the O2 and heart rate app and putting all the buttons on one side of the phone is annoying. If I try to shut the phone down it seems I have to get rid of Bixby (who needs this?) and take 4 screen shots before I get to the shut down screens. 5G - big deal, 4G worked just fine for my purposes.

Ya know...I waited for a while to buy a new phone & I'm glad I did wait. I did buy a cheap phone to get by cuz I actually dropped tmy S8 phone during the hurricane last year that totaled almost literally everything I own or owned.. lol. Home, car and phone... all of the above and that phone (the replacement) was the WORST so I was extremely happy to have a fast phone again. But this S22 has surpassed any and all of my expectations!

Nice phone. Replaced an s7 edge. Yes I keep my phones for years. Don't like the following: no charging block included, power and volume buttons on same side of phone, very slick--don't handle it without a case, cannot add color to my folders--they blend in with the screen, no room for extra storage. Love the camera. Will see how the long the lenses hold up without getting scratched. Have had samsung phones for years. This one seems to a quality phone

I am giving it 1 star because the one feature I like and use the most is bluetooth for streaming to my hearing device. It doesn't work consistently; it keeps disconnecting at random times. Both Samsung and Android don't appear interested in resolving it.
