I bought this when it first came out. I was excited but it was very laggy and slow. even basic apps were too slow and 3rd party apps constantly crashed. I do not recommend it.

Nice watch with amazing features but the battery is not that good for my needs! If you utilize the watch to its full potential, you're only going to get about half the battery time. I usually wear my watch about 14 to 15 hours a day, I don't use all the functions and have about 68% left.

Bluetooth only watch, buggy app, no battery life

This is a Bluetooth only watch, so it cannot be connected to your cell phone carrier, not everyone realizes that. I have found that the distances when it receives calls and texts vary greatly. I can leave my phone on the 3rd floor and still be connected if at entrance of a building. However going from first floor to ground floor of a house, and the connection phone/watch breaks. Have had the watch 2 days and the Samsung app keeps on crashing, I can no longer switch faces. The watch is full of apps I have no use for. The battery life is abysmal, even when you just wear it and do nothing else with. I should have kept my basic FitBit. It at least was compatible with more apps I use.

Terrible Recent Software Upgrade

The latest upgrade is terrible. In particular, Sleep mode frequently won't turn off. When it won't turn off, I have to turn the watch off and back on to get Sleep mode to stop. But then I have to reset the widgets to get then to work. Ether that or go to my phone and turn it on and back off in the Modes app. The Modes app shows it is off, although it is still on on the watch. There are other issues, but that is the one I'm dealing with again this morning.

Had this watch for over a year now. I never receive notifications to the watch have missed many text messages and phone calls. Battery life is worthless. It will just randomly turn off. Needs some serious improvements!!

I have purchased two Galaxy 4 watches. One silver and one Black. The silver one I have had 0 problems with it holds a charge, works great and everything just what I needed. The black one I sent to get a battery replacement because the battery wouldn't stay charged for more than 7 hours. Well even with the replacement battery it's not holding a charge more than 8 hours. I'm not sure what the problem is and since it is out of warranty sadly it is useless to me.

Latest update killed my battery

Would have been higher, but the latest update has rendered my watch4 useless. I had a full charge at 8AM (1 day and 5 hours) and by noon it was down to 12 hours. It doesn't do you any good if you have to charge it every 6-8 hours. Before the last update a full charge was over 2 days.

Don't bother

This watch is the biggest piece of ****! It randomly does things on its own (opens apps). You can't use half the features on it because it drains the battery. I shut most features off, and it still barely makes it through a 10-hour work day. It also will stop sending text notifications from the phone to the watch. Will change your Screensaver too. Nothing like the old watches!

Water, sweat, anything liquid will damage watch

This is my second Galaxy Watch in 4 years and both have died due to water damage over time. I've worn my Galaxy watches for hours in pools or the ocean, worn with everyday hand washing and exercising (sweat) and both watches died after 18-24 months. The image attached is what happened after I ran the update (on the watch, not the phone) and there's no repairing it. I believe spending over $500 within four years is high for the lack of quality in this timepiece.

Despite this classification, your device is not impervious to water damage in any situation. It is important that all compartments are closed tightly. Fun fact: You can use Water lock mode to exercise in the water while wearing your watch. While in Water lock mode, touchscreen, wake-up gestures, and watch always on will be disabled. As I started to drive I noticed that it automatically showed up on my watch..I was stunned. Its amazing that I didn't need to take my eyes away from the road so much to look at my phone, my watch gave me clear directions.

There are several reasons why your Galaxy Watch may be experiencing battery drain or have decreased battery life. For example, certain apps can increase battery consumption. Your Galaxy Watch4 and Galaxy Watch5 models come with their own power saving mode. When enabled, this mode will limit several options in order to save battery life, such as Always On Display, Wi-Fi, and screen brightness. You can also turn on Watch only mode. I bought this a couple months ago. Still can't get it to work properly. Random notification rings, but no notifications.. Sometimes it chimes every couple minutes. Sometimes the phone works with it, sometimes not. NO USERS MANUAL. None of the health functions work. HUGE disappointment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my Samsung galaxy watch 4 for just about everything. It gets to a point where the streamlined process of using the watch over the phone becomes easier to handle on a daily basis. Such as the best part of it is when i can use it to track my workouts on the days I go to the gym as well as most of my health symptoms from cardio to step counting to ekg and heart rate. Being said the second best part is being able to use it in sync with the phone while I'm driving, let me explain.. I can be driving a long distance and not have the attention to look at my phone when a call comes in, therefore all I do is flick my wrist and arm up and It answers then I ask Bixby to enable speaker phone which saves me and my passengers from wrecking in to any other drivers on the road... what I personally love so much about the watch is the way its functionality that it brings to ease my every day stress of having to remind myself of things that need to be done..
