The material is comfortable and what you expect for a shaggy rug. It does not shed. Removing two stars because of the color. I purchased ivory but it doesn’t have the right shade of ivory (color looks a bit off/cheap ivory). That said we are still using it because our pup loves it!

I just received this rug in the runner 2'3x7, and oh my goodness it is beautiful!! I absolutely love it! I got in the brown for my bathroom. It adds such a cozy elegance to it, and is more than I expected. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because there is no grip, so therefore I have to pick up a rug pad tomorrow. Other than that it is worth every penny, and I'm so lucky I was able to purchase this on sale!!

We ordered this rug for our family room and it is so soft and thick. Since we don't wear shoes in our house we have a friend who comes over and immediately goes to stand on it because of its softness.
