The SANUS SimplySafe mount is a low-profile wall mount solution for most 22" - 50" flat-panel TVs up to 80lbs. Its low-profile design places the TV just 1.1" from the wall, so it hangs like a work of art. Angled slots and an integrated level make leveling and installation quick and easy. An innovative safety latch secures your TV to the wall for added safety. The SANUS SimplySafe AML2A can be installed directly onto drywall, with no drilling and no-studs required. Can also be mounted to traditional stud walls, concrete and concrete block walls.
What do I say, 1+ year later, it is still going strong. Installation was a pleasure, a breeze. This is the way products need to be designed and built.
There were enough hardware to support a number of scenarios of installation. The outcome is as advertised. Great buy!
Pretty simple and quick to install. Watch the video for an even easier installation. Although it does come with a built in level, I would suggest using another as a back up. The first time the TV hanged slightly crooked and it was off level compared with our level.
Wanted to mount a TV outside on my covered deck. The place on the fireplace to mount the TV that was provided by the builder wasn't wide enough for most mounts, and I didn't want to drill into the rock. This one did the trick and fit perfectly! Easy to install. Would definitely recommend it to others!
I have three of them, on 43 inch TVs. Buy this, today. If you just need to hang a TV on the wall and don’t want to deal with the huge ugly brackets on both the TV and the wall that are so ridiculously over complicated, this is the answer. You just cannot go wrong with this simple TV mount.
Best mount, no drill needed just a hammer. You can apply to drywall, or nail across a stud and drywall (one of my choices) mount directly into the center of two studs, or my preference mount across drywall and two studs but centering it as you need it in the room. If you decide you want to do directly into two studs (like if you have a heavier tv, earthquake prone area etc.) you’ll need an awl/nail or something to locate center of studs, but it’s just best to nail across them. The mount has a built in level and after you decide where you want it, you nail about 16 nails down at an angle alternating left to right size. About ten minutes to install. I’ve just purchased my 3rd mount.
