Q: Why can't it be used with an adjustable frame and mattress? Are the slats necessary to keep it stable?

A: There are many adjustable bases which come in different specifications. We cannot be sure that this bed will work with them all. Assembling the bed around an adjustable base can work, we just cannot sure that it will work with your specific frame.

Q: Is this bed a Eastern King or California King? I do not see demensions listed anywhere?

What a beautiful bed! Assembled it in less than an hour. Love the natural cane; looks so chic. Gave the bedroom the facelift it needed. Looks fabulous!
