Q: What do I do if my three gears are not working properly. Gear 5 and 6 came broken when I rode the bike on those gears it would make noise and the peddle would just let go. Now gear 5 is doing the same

Purchased for daughter who is at college. She picked it up on 1/22/23 at 4:00pm, and within 2 hours of having the bike the chain on the bike broke. She didnt even get to ride it, just rolled the bike to her room. Should have gone with the majority (more negative than positive) reviews and not get the bike. We will be returning the bike.

Bought my 2 years ago and it still rides nicely for an amateur enthusiast.. Most problems with new bikes is they are assembled by store personnel and they are not "professionals". After the purchase, take it immediately to a bike shop to tighten and adjust things up. It makes a world of a difference on the bike's performance.

I weigh 165 with clothes 168 ish. There is no reason the rear rim should have bent "off roading" so now i have this bike that won't roll unless I hammer the rim into place..or buy a new tire. I've ridden it twice...

I've spent about 370 for this bike & wheels kept going flat and finally popped. Tried changing tire but the bolts will not loosen. It's poorly designed and not friendly to people who are not bike savvy when trying to fix it.

Bike quality was okay except; the bike was badly scratched and scuffed, all the screws and bolts were loose (to the point where the handle bars flopped over the first time the bike was ridden), and the front forks were not only loose but were assembled backwards as the “rear” sticker was facing the front of the bike and the front brakes were on the back side of the forks instead of the front. In total the bike could not be ridden properly. Contemplated taking it apart and reassembling it the correct way but with all the scuffs and scratches I decided to just exchange it instead. Customer service at the store was kind of rude and not helpful in getting a sales person to assist me (didn’t help that they decided to talk about me when I was within earshot). In the end I just returned the bike and will find an alternative elsewhere.

Okay I bought this bike from target about 6-7 months ago and gear 6 & 7 came broken they made noise and peddle would let go on me. My brakes are not that great they need adjusting. Now gear 5 is making noises and the peddle is letting go on me when I'm riding. Plz help idk what to do. The bike comes with 7 gears and 3 are not working well at all. I don't have problems with the other ones.

Seemed fine on smoove paved surface. The gears were completely garbage but it got around. I then decided to take it to on a short 10 Mike off-road trail for old time sake. It almost killed me. The seat is very unforgiving. The pedals are cheap and must be upgraded. I cannot tell you how many times I almost slipped and got injured. Then comes the infamous gear. They are complete garbage but it is Shimano and expected more from them.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Ordered from the app to pick up as it was in stock. It was on a “good” sale and felt it would be a good, basic bike to start with. Guess what? Came unassembled in the box. Ok. I tried hard to assemble it and although I’m no expert, I’m not totally inept. I wasted many hours of my time and it took a lot of cussing and stress to get nowhere with adjusting the brakes anywhere closely. Horrible, horrible product. On my way to return and hope they take it back.

Not a great product. Good bike but assembly is a nightmare. Confusing/vague assembly instructions. Doesn’t even come with proper Allen wrenches. Assembly video on the Target app is NOT the same as this bike. I already need to take it to a shop because the brakes do not work. Once you get the tire pressure to where it’s supposed to be, the seat is terribly uncomfortable. It takes the arm power of the Holy Trinity to adjust the seat. Not worth it
