Q: is bike for riding on the beach? How much does the bike weigh?

A: Hello Dave21954! Though it can be used on paths near the beach, we would not recommend riding it on the beach. This could lead to sand getting into the frame and bearings causing wear. When the bike is fully assembled, it is roughly 45 lbs. Thanks for reaching out!

Q: The speeds on the handle bar are not numbers but images of lines and arrows. There is nothing in the manual or anywhere that describe what the images mean. Where can I get this information?

A: Hello Lala! This model has a shifting system that does not go by numbers but by high, medium, and low gears. In between these 3 gears are minor steps from each gear to the next. Hope this helps!

I bought this bike last winter. Yes, the brakes are noisy as some have complained. But other than that I am pleased with it. It rides very well. Proof of this is that I rode it 1800 miles in 2 months. I went on a number of rides of 50 - 65 miles, and even on a ride of 82 miles followed later by 87 miles. This is my 3rd Schwinn, as I wore the other 2 out.

I thought for $260 I might get a decent bike path cruiser. Wrong. This bike looks great (my 15-year-old loves it), however the brakes squeaked from the beginning, are so loud that its embarrassing to ride. The entire bike rattles and shakes. DO NOT BUY!!!!!!

The pick-up at Target went well. The guys brought the box out and put it in my truck. I had asked at purchase fir the bike to assembled but that didn’t happen. When I asked the clerk stated it would be 3-4 days before I could pick it up. I declined because it was supposed to already be done and we had a bike ride planned that evening. Bike…I love the glossy iridescent paint. I didn’t think I would like the pink color. I had planned on getting it painted once I got it. But, I can’t because it is so pretty and unique. The assembly went well until we had to attach the front wheel. Even with the written instructions and YouTube video as a guide, it still was a challenge. The seat is cute but is not very comfortable. Another con, was we had to purchase tools to complete the bike assembly. For future, the wheels and brakes should already be assembled upon purchase. The rest of the required bike assembly( handle bars, basket, seat and pedals) were a breeze. Also, the hex keys and wrenches should be included with purchase of the bike.

Disappointed!!! The bike is so pretty and sparkly but NO WORTH ALMOST $300! Do not buy! Didn’t even last me 4 hours and the gear shift broke when I switch it. Breaks sound so horrible and squeaky! Please don’t waste your money on this bike. Buy a better one!

i'm giving it 3 stars because it looks pretty and works alright, it's hard to pedal and it makes a squeaky sound every time i ride so i decided to return it because for almost 300 it's not worth it to be honest.

looks pretty... but performance is not up to the mark.. Not expecting too much for the price.. but breaks and wheels make it a horrible bike.. not a good design.. you will realize it is a waste of money in just. a month. On top of it, Target, bike assemblers does a horrible job while assembling the bike. They don't even lubricate things properly.

First off it is super cute. BUT I haven't even been able to ride it yet as I'm waiting for the manufacturer to send me a part. The petal arm is stripped so petal cannot be screwed on.
They say you get what you pay for and I agree with this. Next time I will spend the extra money and but a pre-assembled bike from a bike shop.
There are so many small little issues. My husband is very handy and putting together was not diffifult but there are so many little things that need adjustments or that just don't fit together correctly. I expected better from Schwinn but this is very low end. Ugh

Schwinn Women's Lulu 26" Cruiser Bike - Pink/White I bought this bike for my wife as and anniversary present, and she absolutely loves it! I had it shipped so it wasn't pre-assembled, but it was really easy to put together only taking about 15 minutes. We've gone on several bike rides without any problems, and my wife said the comfort level of riding it was way better than her mountain bike. By far the prettiest bike I've ever seen.

I bought this bike and at first it was great! It was such a fantastic, easy ride! After a month the brakes started rubbing on the wheel making it difficult to ride. I'd have to bend down and pull the brake off the pedal just to stop and then again to go. My feet did most of the stopping. About a month after that the handlebars would slide downward and make the angle difficult to hold on right. A little after that I couldn't turn the gear shifter. I can't ride the bike at this point. It's junk in my shed. It came pre-assembled from my local target store. Schwinn really dropped the ball on this bike. Faulty brake design and gear shifter.

The prettiest bike I've seen. Unfortunately too uncomfortable to ride, heavy and clumsy. Squeaky breaks. Badly designed seat, doesn't provide good comfort. I guess I'll go for something more comfortable even though not so pretty.

Definitely not worth the $200 after taxes. Bike looks nice, but the tires were flat, chain falls off easily, front fender rubs, and front brakes rub as well, and it didn't come with the front basket as shown in photo. Took some extra time to correct all the issues before being rideable.

Beautiful bicycle as always with Schwinn. Unfortunately today I received my wife's new bike and it has a flat front tire. I would think there would be a Quality Control in place to ensure they don't ruin other people's dreams. No shipping documents, just an empty sleeve.

Hi Paul, the tires do not come inflated. It is important to make sure tires are properly inflated within the recommended pressures displayed on the tire's sidewall before before riding (See page 13 in owner's manual).
