Q: Can I use this to stick to itself? That is, if I put one piece on one item and another piece on another item, can I stick one to the other?

A: No, you cannot. The magnetic poles are the same, so they will not stick together. I would suggest looking into Velcro or magnetic nametags with adhesive to stick to both sides.

Q: If I stuck the adhesive side directly to a wall, would it be hard to take down/would it pull the paint off with it?

I bought this to put on the back of a white board, (like the package describes it can do) and had to use 10 pieces just to get it to stick to the fridge, and it still keeps falling off. I am resorting to hot glue.

I want expecting the strongest attraction on Earth, but these are the most ridiculously weak magnets I've ever used. They don't even stick as well as tape.

I used this to hang a chalk board calendar on my fridge. I left for work and came back and the calendar had fallen and broken. Two of the strips I placed were still on the fridge but were no longer connected to the calendar and the other two strips were connected to the calendar but no longer attached to the fridge.

I should have listened to the reviews—-the magnetic tape is not strong. The tape is magnetic but not magnetic enough to hold any object at all. It was a waste of money. I am going to try more objects but have not found it useful thus far.

I bought this to put small spice jars on my refrigerator. On the back of the package it states; Designed For: Hanging and securing lightweight items and crafting projects. This doesn’t have the slightest pull towards the refrigerator. Not even when I tried to stick just a small piece of the tape itself. Complete Waste Of Money.

Adhesive and magnet were very weak. I was trying to mount the u brands whiteboard to my fridge. It is 14" x 14" and very light. I put almost the whole roll onto the back but it still can't hold it up.

really fails to live up to claims

I'd say that both the adhesive and magnet strength fall somewhere in the range of mediocre to downright weak. The adhesive is weak enough to occasionally fall off on its own, and after supergluing, probably about a foot's worth of tape can barely keep a square-foot-ish whiteboard attached to a fridge. I have no idea how a claim could be made that this is a good product for securing kitchen equipment to anything.

This is poor quality. It made my fingers and everything it touched black. Also not very strong magnetic. I used the whole roll on a meal planner I thought should go on the fridge. For some reason my pics arent loading but it makes my finger black every time I touch it. I didn't realize until the tape was on that it did this, so it ruined the thing I put it in and got everywhere else.

Was using this for my office space at work. I recently rearranged my desk so I needed to hang provider schedules, hospital directories and other daily operations. Most of my paperwork is laminated but magnets would not strong enough to keep up on these strip. Also the magnet tape leaves behind a black residue. I need taking them down and tossing them. On the hind for another way to hold up papers above my desk.
