[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With back to school happening, the kids needed to bring disinfecting wipes for the classroom. I need to find a way to keep the lids sealed without spilling the liquid inside or drying the wipes. I remembered that I had received samples of clear tape from Scotch. I just need something that would hold, but wouldn't need a lot of force to open when the wipes were needed. I could only find this tape when I needed it, so I used and I am glad I had this handy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this wall safe tape at work to hang notices with, when I change them out it does not rip my paper and it does not rip the sheetrock off the wall. It's also clear and you cant not see that it's even taped up.

It did stick and it didn't damage the paint on the wall but I wish I could see a little more adhesive strength. It may be the way I'm using it but I have to loop it on all 4 corners and use a good amount to keep it on the wall.

It also holds the art work on the walls without it falling off. Now I don’t have to worry about the paint coming off my walls.

I think because the tape is thicker than regular tape, I had problems cutting it easily using the built in cutter. I used scissors instead.

I have been frustrated with tape not sticking well and/or pulling paint off the wall when removing it. We use this for Christmas cards and drawings We found this works well for this application. It was easy to dispense and it was strong enough to hang a booklet on the wall for when my grandchildren visited. when I needed to remove it, thetape didn't damage the paint on the wall or the paper booklet that was hung. Really a great item for when you need to show off that most important artwork!

I’ve had it on the walls for a few weeks now, and it still peels off cleanly. I like that they can change the things they hang on their walls without any damage.

In exchange for my honest opinions of the product, I was sent this free sample. It has literally blown my mind. Tape that is safe to use ... on the wall? After using it repeatedly, I can confirm that it is, indeed, safe for walls. I teach kindergarten and I receive so many notes, cards, and special drawings from my students. I love to display them by my desk but hate it when I can't find a product that is kind to the wall. Not only does this amazing tape stick well to a variety of surfaces, it also comes off cleanly from the card, drawing, or note once I am finished displaying it. No rips, no tears! The best part for me is that there is also no residue ... You can't even tell that something was taped to the wall - and whatever was taped to the wall also has no sticky residue or visible 'tape marks.' I have used Scotch Wall-Safe Tape on my stainless steel refrigerator because it is so much better than using magnets which have scratched the surface in the past. If you're like me and LOVE to tape things to the walls - decorations for parties, notes, cards, reminders, and so forth, you simply must stock up on several rolls of Scotch Wall-Safe Tape! You will be forever grateful ... I know I am!

We recently moved into a new house and I was reluctant to hang anything for fear of damaging the paint. I did a test of this tape first and I have to say it exceeded my expectations. I only had a fairly heavy piece of art to test with, so I secured the tape behind it and attached to my wall. To my delight it kept it up perfectly; even better, when I went to remove the tape, it came off cleanly - no residue on the walls and no paint on the tape! I can't wait to try this out in other places where I need to hang a calendar or quick reminder note or for my son's artwork. Would definitely recommend!

We are not allowed to use tape on the walls at work, but since this is wall-safe tape, I decided to try it. I used it to hang something that I reference frequently and don't have much room on my desk to spare to keep it hanging around. I like the feel of the tape, lightweight yet strong enough to hold. From where I am sitting, I can't see the tape lines, but I can see the paper - huge plus. The tape seems to be holding up quite well. If I can continue to get away with it at work, I will continue to use it here. Thanks 3M for the sample. I love it.
