Quality of the mounting brackets is cheap. They are plastic and I would not recommend for a double curtain rod. The decorative balls on the end are way too small.

I bought the longest one because we have a huge window. It actually looks nice and elegant, BUT they don't hold 4 curtains, very fragile, if you extend it maximum-ly just like we did the curtains easily drops and collapse, AND the locking cuffs don't work at all. I really like these rods. They are much nicer than any I could find locally. The two pieces do slide apart a little to easily if you are using rod pocket style drapes. Easy to install.see moreof the reviewer's review

The brackets and finials are plastic, while the rods are metal. One of the brackets broke when it was held up against the wall to be screwed in. It would not hold heavy curtains.see moreof the reviewer's review
