The Sea-band operates by using acupressure. The bands can be put onto your wrist before you start traveling, or after you have started your journey. The Sea-Band is being used successfully throughout the world, by car travelers, yachtsmen, pilots, mothers to be and hospitals. The Sea-Band may be hand washed using a soap or mild detergent.
Sea-Band may be applied as a preventative measure before the onset of nausea ( such as before surgery to reduce the risk of nausea and vomiting associated with anaesthesia). Sea-Bands may also be applied after the onset of nausea. 1. Place your middle three fingers on the inside of your wrist with the edge of third finger just below the first wrist crease. The Nei-Kuan point is located underneath your first(index) finger in between the two wrist tendons. 2. Position the button facing downward over the Nei-Kuan point. Repeat the process for the other wrist. 3. One band must be worn on each wrist to be effective.

Q: Will these fit a toddlers wrist?

A: There is a child’s version but it really depends how small your toddlers wrist is. They need to be tight and have proper pressure on the point to work.

A: No, Sea-Band does not have an expiry date. It can be hand washed, and reused many times.

Q: Does this band relief headaches and anxiety too? And does this band fully prevent from vomiting motion sickness etc. and is it good for roller coasters? I have horrible anxiety about getting sick and I’m going to six flags in a few days.

A: Sea-Band is only clinically trialed for relief of symptoms from nausea, specifically, for motion sickness, during pregnancy, post anesthesia and chemotherapy related nausea. The functions in the body that cause the nauseous feelings are very similar, and so Sea-Band should also help with other forms of nausea too, so may help you with nausea associated to anxiety or for example migraine. However, it will not stop or prevent the actual headaches, or anxiety themselves which cause the nauseous feelings.

I bought these for my (not so) morning sickness and these really help! They don’t take assay the nausea completely for me but I’m able to function without gagging at everything I smell. I did have a little bruise looking mark but it went away like 5 minutes later

Miracle worker!! I’m nine weeks pregnant and was having such terrible morning sickness. I bought these 5 days ago and haven’t been throwing up! Definitely feel nauseous sometimes still, but the nausea isn’t nearly as bad. They aren’t comfortable but they’re way better than being miserably sick.

This item did provide some essential relief during the first few weeks of pregnancy morning sickness. Won't lie that it did not help during week 9/10 when the morning sickness was the most severe, but in weeks 5-8, this thing worked a miracle. Recomend!

If you suffer from any kind of nausea, BUY THESE. These work so well for me that I went back and bought a second pair just to have an extra. I’ve had nausea for years due to anxiety, and the second I start feeling sick, I put these on and I swear they start working instantly. Definitely worth a try!
