This was a wedding gift off our registry. It works well in both are bathrooms. I like the natural material and texture of the waste bin. We do place a bag inside to keep the product from getting prematurely messed up or sticky.

Smaller than I anticipated but I really wanted it due to the lovely color and texture. That part really comes through. I also wanted this one because of the liner, which seemed really smart to me. I was disappointed that it seems disposable. The liner appears as if it's just a protective piece of plastic for shipping -- it doesn't have a permanent feel to me (like you could wipe it down but it's not going to survive a washing.)

The “plastic liner” in this is not a true plastic liner, it’s flimsy and would not support any trash at all. I am disappointed in the quality of Hearth & Hand pieces lately. The quality is not like it used to be.

If you want to use this as a planter or something, sure. But definitely not a wastebasket. I purchased it because it showed the liner, however, I was under the impression the liner was removable. The liner is a cheap plastic that looks like you’re supposed to remove it upon opening. If you’re looking for a bathroom trash bucket that you can use trash bags in, this is not it.
