Sensodyne Repair and Protect Whitening Toothpaste can actually repair sensitive teeth for lasting sensitivity protection.* With the active ingredient stannous fluoride, it builds a repairing layer over the vulnerable areas of your teeth, protecting them from pain. Sensodyne Repair and Protect Whitening provides effective lasting relief from the twinge of sensitivity, offers cavity protection and helps your teeth keep their natural whiteness.**With twice daily brushing. To use, adults and children 12 years of age and older should apply at least a 1-inch strip of the product onto a soft bristle toothbrush. Brush teeth thoroughly for at least 1 minute, twice a day.

First Sensodyne product that my wife and I have had a problem with. It caused tongue swelling for both of us after 1 use.

READ THE REVIEWS!!! BUYER BEWARE!! I've been trying to figure out why my mouth is swollen and painful for weeks and realized it's this toothpaste. Swollen cheeks, sloughing skin, sores, iron taste at base of lips, chapped lips, dry mouth. Beware of this product!! I couldn't believe the reviews were stating exactly what I'm experiencing.

Swollen cheeks, sloughing skin, sores, iron taste at base of lips, chapped lips, dry mouth. Beware of this product!! I couldn't believe the reviews were stating exactly what I'm experiencing.

I used this product twice daily for about 3 days and noticed blisters on my bottom lip, on both cheeks near top teeth, canker sores, and bleeding and burning when I brushed due to this toothpaste.

Sore and Swollen - DO NOT BUY

I have been using Sensodyne products for almost a year. Randomally purchased the Repair and Protect Whitening version. After 2 weeks of daily use I noticed my lip was swollen and dry/peeling, gums were red and extra sensitive, teeth were sensitive, and my tongue felt swollen/cluster or canker sores underneath. Initially everything was fine but after 2 weeks it started to burn. The floor or my mouth and inside of my lip felt raw and tasted like iron. I was starting to get worried and looked up reviews to find similar stories. I will be tossing this toothpaste away. I don't believe it's the SLS because I used regular Crest and have been fine. There is something in this toothpaste that can cause sores/burning. DO NOT USE
