A: Thanks for asking! Our Ultra Power Plus Automatic Dishwasher Detergent Gel does have a Fresh Citrus scent, with essential oils & botanical ingredients. The Free & Clear Automatic Dishwasher Detergent Gel has been discontinued, but we do offer a Free & Clear version of the Dishwasher Detergent Powder and the Dishwasher Detergent Packs. The Seventh Generation Dish Detergents contain no chlorine bleach, phosphates or synthetic fragrances. We hope this helps!

Q: how many loads did you get from it?

A: It takes about 1 ounce of detergent for a load, so this bottle would give you about 65 loads. Water hardness, how dirty the dishes are, and how many dishes in the dishwasher can all effect how much detergent is needed.

A: Thank you for reaching out. Seventh Generation does not use gluten as an ingredient in any of our products. Our formulas are tested for gluten during the development of the product as well as on the final product after it goes into production. While our products are not certified gluten free, we test to ensure that they meet the levels required to meet the certification standard of the Gluten-Free Certification Organization. While we consider the risk of trace ingredient contamination to be low, it may be possible if the manufacturing facilities use ingredients containing gluten protein. Our manufacturing partners utilize segregation, cleaning & sanitization practices to mitigate the potential risk of trace level contamination. Our products are not intended for consumption, but for cleaning of surfaces and items around the home. The "Gluten Free" indication is offered on the label to allow consumers with severe sensitivity or following a gluten-free lifestyle to choose gluten-free products for their home. We hope this helps.

This dishwasher gel contains 2 synthetic preservatives: Methylisothiazolinone and Benzisothiazolinone both of which I think are banned for cosmetics use (one is a neurotoxin). So why in all creation does 7th Generation think we would want them on our dishes?! Plus leaves my dishes dirty from food particles, compared to crystal clean of the Free & Clear gel - which I think 7th Generation has discontinued. Drastic reduction in quality and commitment from this once-great company. Going elsewhere for nontoxic home products now

Our first time trying this dishwasher soap. My son ran the dishwasher once, some dishes still came out dirty & greasy. So he ran those same dishes a SECOND time, & again some dishes still came out looking dirty & greasy.

The thing That makes me really angry as the only reason I tried this is because 7th generation discontinued their 75 oz box of free & clear powder that I've used for over 10 years. Ridiculous. I've gone back and forth to this detergent, wanting it to work each time. It just does not clean my dishes. I added a picture of one of my coffee cups right after taking it out of the dishwasher. Stains everywhere, and they never come off. Other dishes still have stuck on food bits. I rinse before putting in, but not always 100%. The big brands don't have any trouble getting my dishes clean and they never leave stains. I wanted something less toxic, but this just doesn't work.
