We got this vacuum for Christmas this year, and it will not pick up ANYTHING!!! It continues to leaves clumps of hair/dirt that we continually have to keep going back over. Our other shark's brush got something tangled in it, and destroyed the brush, and it still picks up more than this brand new piece. I am having to go back to the old ways of sweeping because this won't do anything!
I was absolutely amazed at how well the shark removed the big clumps of pet hair from the rug. Usually before I vacuumed I had to brush up all pet hair before I started so the reoller would NOT freeze up on me. Thank you for this great product.
This doesn't have carpet adjustment. It's very difficult to push! I'm taking it back!

With this being said, it is equipped with a Suction Control, just below the handle. When you open this, it will lower suction to assist with maneuverability. There is 2 of us with long hair in my house plus 2 cats and I have had nothing less than a great experience with my vacuum. I have had mine for over 6 months and I have never had any issues with the self cleaning brush roller. I love mine and highly recommend it.
Super unhappy with this vacuum. I’ve had it since June and the motor went out. It won’t turn on anymore. Not happy with having to buy a new vacuum when this cost $249.
