A lightweight 2-in-1 Lift-Away® upright vacuum with a detachable canister for portable cleaning power. Additionally, it has a Brushroll Shutoff button so you can easily switch between carpet and bare floor cleaning.Includes:Wide Pet Upholstery Tool, Dusting Brush, 24"Crevice Tool, 5.5"Crevice tool
When using the attachments the handle doesn't swivel so it's awkward to use. It falls over very easily. The canister is too small and dirt aways gets stuck inside due to the shape of the inside of the canister. It does have powerful suction, but so do others that are easier to use. It's 2 years old and I'm going to throw it out and buy something else.

Hello, We would like to thank you for taking the time to share your review of the Shark Navigator® Lift-Away® Vacuum. We are always looking for ways to improve our products. When using the handle hose for above floor cleaning, we recommend holding the handle on top of the dust cup while cleaning with the other to prevent the vacuum from falling over. We hope that you decide to try another Shark®. I bought this because my current vaccum (Dyson) is too hard to manuver and when I try using the hand held tools, the vaccum suction is so powerful it causes the vaccum to run me over. The Shark Navigator is much easier to push/pull on the carpets, as there is not as much suction power. However, when using the hose w/attachments, the vaccum falls over on me. Also disappointed that there is not enough room on the vaccum to carry the 4 attachments.
For the last 10 years I've been using a Dyson vacuum that cost twice as much as the Shark navigator. I got used to seeing a ton of junk sucked up and visible in the see through bin. Same with the Shark, but it is lighter and easier to maneuver. This vacuum has a narrower path however, so I guess it will take a few more pushes to cover the same swath of carpet. In addition, the suction is adjustable. A word of warning if you have floor rugs with fringe. Be sure to avoid the fringe when the beater blades and high suction are engaged. I wasn't used to the full force of the new machine and rolled over some fringe on an aging dhurrie flat weave rug and the vacuum ripped that fringe (and a few rows of the carpet itself!). I won't do this again.
Bought this vacuum in store on 10/28/18. And approx 4.5 months later it doesn't work. We have mostly hardwoods so this has been used to vacuum some bedrooms every other week. I had registered the vacuum with Shark and so I called in to troubleshoot the issue. The customer service person said the nozzle needs to be replaced and that will cost $99 and I think we got it on sale for $150 new. Awful service. I'll never buy a Shark product again. She said if I had purchased it off a TV ad I would have received the "VIP Warranty" which would cover parts aside from the motor but since I bought it at a retail store I get the limited warranty which only covers the motor. Awful, awful, awful. So annoyed by this. Heap of junk. Can't believe it just stopped working with light use after 4.5 months. Such a lemon or just a bad product. Either way, very dissatisfied.
