Would not turn on or hold a charge

Always wanted a cordless vacuum. Bought this one because of the reviews. Works great, but battery life only last 40 minutes for 1200 square feet home. Still would recommend to others.

It's a lot heavier than I thought it might be.

At first this was great but as time has gone on it's just not picking up anything. Just stick with a corded vacuum, nothing beats it.

I haven't even had it for a full year and the rotator in the bottom has stopped rotating and therefore not picking anything up.

So my household has been around the block a few times with expensive vacuum cleaners looking for that magic one that actually does what it says. Our 3 heavy shedding labs have proven each one wrong and sent many to the vacuum graveyard because they just can’t keep up with the daily fur load. We have even had Shark pet vacuums that didn’t work at all, but this one seems to have finally answered my OCD prayers. The battery charges fast and lasts a lot longer than before, changes floor modes for different suction levels, and lies down almost flush with the ground to get all the way under furniture. This new model is vastly improved and the quality is amazing. It holds a lot of hair and debris and I have yet to get things stuck in the roller brushes, which was a huge issue before. Also, because it’s self cleaning, it doesn’t get stinky when it’s full. Amazing. This Shark is definitely pricey but you get what you pay for and this is so worth it.

Listen: I spent twice as much on a canister vacuum less than 4 years ago and it stopped working well 1 year ago. Due to sunk cost fallacy, I didn’t get a new one. Then I saw this. I love Target. I do a curbside pick up at least once a week. Why not try it? And let me tell you. I’m not exaggerating—this has changed my life. I vacuum more than once a day. It’s soooo easy to use and store and I’ve only had to charge it once with all that use. I even vacuumed the heck outta my very dirty car (I have a toddler) with the handheld attachments. My wrists hurt but MY CAR IS SO CLEANNNN. I hope it continues working well and even if it stops working after a year I will buy another one. I like it more than the fancy Dyson we got as a wedding gift a decade ago. That also stopped working shy of 4 years. The only downside is how filthy the chamber got after cleaning my car. I can’t wipe it well enough BUT! It doesn’t smell bad or affect the performance. It was just approximately 3 years of a family car 🙈

awesome product, only downfall for me is battery life.

I am very disappointed in this product. The suction is horrible. It doesn't suck everything up anyway, and half of what it does suck up, falls back out when you turn the power off.

Love vacuuming with this and it works great. But my battery does not come out on this target shark. Question is what if battery goes bad what do you do to replace the battery? Larry N Harvest Al

I’ve only used it once so far but I’m very impressed! Going cordless is a life changer, I can’t believe I waited this long for freedom. I stuck it on the charger right out of the box but got a little excited and started running it before it was fully charged. I was able to do about 2500sq ft of tile and used 60% of the battery which exceeded my expectations. It’s surprisingly quiet which I don’t believe I read any reviews about so that’s an added plus. I have a Great Pyrenees and two long haired cats and this little thing gobbled up all the clumps of long hair with no problem and the brush roll stayed clean when I was done. Emptying the bin was easier than my full size vacuum and the included crevice attachment helped suck up the tiny bits of cat little in the corners and along the edge of the rug. It’s super sleek and zips under furniture. It is heavier than the fork I lift to my face all day long so if you’re a desk spud like me prepare for a minor arm workout. Order pick-up was a breeze and the manger at my store is hot but he was wearing a ring.

Housewife dreams came true with this vacuum!!! I Love everything about and work’s Amazing!!! I chose this over the Dyson and I’m So Glad I did too!!! So many features including a light a button that switches the carpet rolls on and I the battery lasted through a 2 story house!!! I love how you can hang it on the bottom Instead of on the wall!!

just bought this today to replace a Dyson, this will not charge at all out of the box, the connection between the charger, and the back of the battery is loose, called shark, and all they offered was to send me a new charger which is not going to fix the problem I will put this back in the box and take it back to target. I guess I will be going back to a Dyson, super disappointing that out of the box this is a complete failure.

I love Shark products but this is complete trash. It doesn’t charge to 100% and within 1 min of using it on eco the battery drops by 10%. Means I can’t use it for more than 6 min total. So, disappointed!!

If there is one thing I highly dislike, it’s hair that I have to cut from the vacuum roller. I have very long thick hair that falls from my head constantly. This vacuum picks up the hair and there NEVER any hair that I need to cut from the roller when cleaning. This is worth the price and the hassle of that extra cleaning of the roller.

I like it alot! the pro version is nice. screen is easy, strong suction, seems to last for more cleanings than I need to plan for. I overspent on the dyson, bought 3 like a dummy. Love this Shark brand, wish they made a portable wet/vac.

Love this vacuum! Works so much better than my dyson that died after 2 years. The suction power is great and the battery lasts a very long time. My friend who is over frequently can’t wait for this to go on sale so she can buy it!

This vacuum didn’t even last a year!!!! Loved it at first. Vacuums a small amount of space, I noticed it works more forward facing then when you pull back on the floor. I appreciated the light for hard visible places, it seem like the canister holds a good amount. However, this vacuum is very hard to clean. It does not easily empty and more times I have to lift my hand in the canister to empty it out rather than it pushing out the debris, you cannot clean the brush portion as hair and dust tend to get stuck in that area some vacuums you can remove this but on the shark you cannot. A vacuum over $300 should last at least five years and this did not make it a full year. The vacuum no longer suctions and I clean it regularly it just blows out hair and debris when I vacuum carpet, very disappointed because this had such high reviews when I bought it in November 2021. I would also like to add that my apartment is a 700 square-foot and I have two rugs

Worked great at first but you have to take the whole thing apart to unclog it every use. Doesn’t even make it to the debris container. Cordless seems cool until you realize it has no power. Felt so guilty about getting rid of it for how much it cost but getting a corded one today.

I like the vacuum but it gets on my nerves. The suction/power, ease of use, canister size, tranistion between floors is great BUT I find after a few uses, I have to flip the vacuum over and remove trapped lint and dust. I use the vacuum for my third floor which are just bedrooms. I kept getting an error in March and I found out that lint and dust gets trapped over the suction hole behind the roller. Before I use the vacuum, I flip it over to check if there is anything in there. And yes, I make sure there is nothing on the floor before I vacuum.
