It is compact and can be used from anything like a carpet to any other furniture such as the couch. It doesn't weigh much which makes makes it perfect for all members of the family to use. It is super easy to clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried out the Shark StainStriker HairPro Pet today for the first time and was impressed by the results. The brushes did a great job collecting all the hair in the carpet I was cleaning, picking up not just the visible hairs but also those I couldn’t see from just a few feet away. It was easy enough to figure out how to operate the cleaner – I was able to get going in just a few minutes without looking through the instructions or watching the available video first. The cleaning solution comes out of the wand when you depress the button on said wand, but the placement of that sprayer is a little less than ideal as it comes before the brush head (closer to your hand as you hold the wand vs on the further side of the brush head). This wasn’t a big deal for me in today’s task as I was cleaning a larger rug, but for a scenario where you are simply trying to tackle a very particular area it would make it more difficult not to overspray. The cleaning solution worked well, as did the water extractor, but I did find myself emptying the dirty water container a few times during this task. Given the compact nature of the unit that isn’t a surprising and unreasonable compromise, but it is something to consider if you’re planning on using it for larger cleaning jobs more often than smaller spot cleans. Once I was all done, taking the unit apart to clear was also quite simple and didn’t require glancing at the instruction manual. All in all, this is a nice little carpet cleaner and if money isn’t a big factor, but cleaning performance and a compact nature are, I think this is a great choice. If you have the space to accommodate a slightly larger unit, there is a well rated competitor that offers similar performance but at a reduced price, and with a larger dirty water reservoir which could be nice to have. Ultimately it comes down to what you value more; For me the compact nature of this unit sealed the deal as I don’t find myself cleaning so often to be bothered by the smaller dirty water tank, but I do value the smaller footprint it takes up while stored.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own a long haired cat and a Great Pyrenees so better the two, there is a lot of hair on my couch and this is great at deep cleaning as well as getting the hair off the couch! I’ve only used it twice now, but it has made a difference! It is portable but does need to be plugged in. Lightweight. A few attachments and all easy to use! Overall I like it!

It is incredibly durable and lightweight, making it easy to complete cleaning tasks. I also appreciate how simple it is to store away after each use. The various attachments make it convenient to use both at home and in my car. I love that there are different compartments available for Shark StainStriker cleaners. I will continue using this little machine for both big messes and small ones.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I am really glad I got the Shark Stain Striker Hair Pro Pet PX251. After removing from the box, finishing assembly to set it up for use was a breeze. The getting started section of the manual shows details of which bottled cleaning solution gets added to which tank. For guidance on actual use, I highly recommend scanning one of the many QR codes which launches videos at the Shark website. These videos show the specific angle that the cleaning tool attachments need to be held in order to do the job. After viewing them, I cleaned two lightly soiled area rugs. First, I dry vacuumed and was pleased to see the fine dirt that it collected in the tank (shown in photo). Second, I sparingly sprayed the solution, which had a pleasant light clean fragrance and scrubbed the fibers. Next, I attempted to extract the solution. When trying to extract the solution, it did not appear that any dirty water collected in the reservoir tank and the area rugs remained slightly damp. That was disappointing. A couple days later I tried it again on a larger area rug. Again, it collected hair and dirt when dry vacuumed, but after scrubbing fibers in both directions, when I attempted to extract the solution, no measurable amount appeared in the tank. My favorite part of this unit is the maintenance. With the mini stain eliminator, which is basically the attachment on wand that connects to the hose, and the small stain eliminator, Shark offers a Rinse& Go Self Wash Cycle. To use it, one presses the tool at the precisely right angle to a groove on the cleaning solution tank and it draws solution up through the tool and the hose. It took some experimenting to find the correct way for the tool to press the area in order to draw up the solution. Eventually, it worked and the reservoir tank collected dirty water, while cleaning the attachment and the hose (photo shown of dirty water in tank). I also used the larger Stain Eliminator attachment and Pet Hair Extractor attachment. Both of those need to be manually cleaned, as the Rinse & Go system is not an option for those tools. Before putting it away, I took the attachments and dirty reservoir apart to clean the various filters that collected hair and the silicone ridges and bristles that collected dirt. Although I wish it made extracting dirty water easier, I’ll likely continue to prefer using this system instead of laundering area rugs.

After reading the instructions on which tool to use, I used the mini stain eliminator. I have not had the pleasure to use the other attachments unfortunately, but I was beyond satisfied with the outcome of this product. The suction was amazing and got all the coffee out of the carpet and there was no smell afterwards. The running sound wasn’t too bad. I was super grateful there is a rinse option for your hose and attachments! My only disappointment with this bundle is that there was not a bag that came with it to keep all the attachments together.

This deep cleaner is amazing! It is lightweight enough to be portable, so I am able to easily carry it from floor to floor or room to room. I love the multiple attachments so you can really make sure what you’re using will remove the stain. And it doesn’t clog or wrap with hair, but rather filters it out so it is much easier to clean. There is also a self cleaning mechanism to clean the attachments and the hose which is an amazing add on. This was super easy to fill, clean and use, and it will definitely be put to good use in our home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dog is a short hair breed but he hates being brushed so we have lots of shedding on his bed and the living room. I own a different stain remover for a few years now and when comparing the two this one is a game changer! It picks up dog hair much better (& maybe some human hair since my hair also ends up everywhere as well lol) and it gets stains out in a breeze. With my other cleaner I would have to vacuum beforehand, spot clean, then vacuum again. With this I’m able to vacuum before use and spot clean then I’m done! I also absolutely love the self-cleaning mode. My other cleaner didn’t have that so it would get a smell over time and it would be so strong any time we used it. With the Shark Stain Striker we don’t have to worry about any odors left on the carpet or any smells from leftover residue in the cleaner itself thanks to the built in self-wash. I would say the only thing is that it’s a little bulky (for my taste) but I do not mind one bit since it works so well.

10/10 I had a 4 year old coffee stain in my front car seat that was impossible to take out and this did it! Left all my car seats looking brand new. Wish I had taken a before and after photo. Def recommend.
