Flawed mechanics
Mechanism for opening canister doesn't work. I bought this in 2024 and had problems from the first time I tried to empty the cannister. Never has released properly and requires a screw driver to open it now just so I can empty the canister.

UNRETURNABLE PIECE OF JUNK.
This vac stopped working after a few uses. It seems to not hold a charge... I tried to return to Target but could not mail back according to the return request. I tried communicating with a HELP rep at Target online but was told this item cannot be mailed back. I have to return to a Target store. Unfortunately there is NO Target where I live. I explained this to rep, but they refused to accept return and repeatedly informed me I have to take it to store for Return and Refund. I am now Out $70 and have a useless vac! This is VERY bad customer service for Target. No wonder their sales are down!

Target sent me a previously used item. Upon going to the app where i made the original purchase theyd also made the item non-returnable and made it so i could not reach out to them. Unfortunately for Shark this was my only course of action outside of driving to a store. But that defeats the purpose of buying online. I thought i was purchasing a brand new item but didnt recieve one. Super deceptive and poor business practice on Targets part.

Good luck emptying this vacuum!
Works well but good luck getting the dirt cup emptied. Advertised as 'hands free' emptying, it is anything but. Tug, pull, yank until it opens and spills all over you. Terrible design.

I love my sharks, just not this one
I bought this about 2 days ago, and I can honestly say that this one does not impress me… not even a little… I stand by my sharks, I love them, my boyfriend and I battle over who’s is better, he’s a Dyson fan, but this vacuum leaves me very upset. Would I buy again or recommend to my friend or family? No, I wouldn’t. What is upsetting about this is the fact the thin attachment ut comes with is just to short for such a bulky hand vacuum to even get in any cracks or in between anything, the battery life is only 10 minutes, if you’re lucky, and that’s if you charge it for the full 4 hours it takes to be completely charged. The pet spin brush is okay, although even that is to “direct” and has to be angled just right to actually work good. I’m very frustrated with the fact that this vacuum left me needing to use something else to get the job done, especially for the price that it costs…

Ok, but not really a god every day vacuum.
Got this hoping it would help with my carpeted stairs. Suction is lacking, battery life is pretty terrible. It works, but it doesn't work well. Can't say I'm really happy with the purchase. I wanted a lightweight option and this just ended up being too wimpy. I was drawn to it initially because of the powered brush head, but that was kind of a useless novelty. I would also say that it worked decent out of the gate, but maybe 3-4 sessions in, it started to wimp out. I could probably recover some suction by cleaning all the filters, but a vacuum can't be judged on clean filter performance. It has to perform every day. This format

Puppy hair
We purchased this because we have a new puppy who has course hair. We thought the brush option the best idea. While this works well on stairs, it's not as good at getting the hair off our bedspread. Now, this may be we need to pull cover tighter but we expected it to grab more hair and be simpler to clean it up.

Best vacuum when it worked
I LOVED this vacuum when it was working. It was the most powerful handheld vacuum I’ve ever had and was so versatile. Unfortunately, after only 3 months of typical use it won’t charge anymore. The battery died and when I plugged it in it no longer would charge. I’ve tried various outlets and even purchased a replacement charging cable and nothing is working. So disappointed.

A Long Hair Must
I'm obsessed with this vacuum. I've broken several vacuum belts (standard, old school upright, corded style) in the past with my long, thick hair. Not with this compact, light weight wonder! The way those little yellow balls roll hair into neat and tidy "tumbleweeds" that eject right out with its easy to empty dust cup is awesome! And powerful enough to suck up the kitty litter too, lol.
