The bin where all the dust and hair go is pretty small, usually have to empty after every room. Also the motor burnt out after 3 months of having it. Spend more money on a different one!

This is an awesome little vacuum. I've had Dyson (which broke quickly), kenmore, Miele, and other brands and this is a good one. Great suction even with a lab and 2 cats worth of fur. The swivel head is great getting under furniture and its very lightweight and easy to store. the cup is easy to clean; I rinse it out with water and a drop of soap and let dry and it never gets stinky. I like the cord because with cordless ones I've had batteries never last, charging them near an outlet (which are never in a closet) is a pain, and the batteries are very heavy. My mother in law who has arthritis liked it so much she bought one.

This vaccuum: Super light and sucks well. I took out the big thick filter. Now it sucks even better. Spares me ton of time, this little vaccuum cleaner. I vacuum a rental beach condo 4x a week. This vaccuum gets it all. Both of carpet and the tiles. Lotsa sand! The one big downside is that the CHORD IS NOT SMOOTH and sort of slitherly like some good chords are, but wirey, and it curls up around the spots where it was hung on the vacuum, and I have to constantly un-tangle the chord. I would buy it again and again - if only not for that crappy chord. If it sits rolled up for 2/3 days, the chord gets stuck, in knots that curl themselves. Very annoying! I have to stop vaccuuming several times in one session to untangle the chord. At first I gave 5 stars because I was so excited. This vaccuum cleaner saved me a lot of time. I no longer need 2 vaccuums. And this one reaches easily far under the bed and in funky places. The attachments are also good. However, the chord ... the chord .... very annoying. Other than that: perfect. I will buy next time a similar vaccuum with a smooth, non wirey, non curly chord.

Just a little over a year, and mine too burned up, stopped working. It was great in the beginning, loved it, light weight, picked up everthing off of the floor from the dog hair to cat litter. Very disappointed, it wasn't even used on a weekly basis. And it still took a crap.

I’ve used this vacuum religiously for 6 months. It’s been used everyday and it’s held up pretty good. We have 3 pets , it picks up the pet hair really good but since all pets sleep in one room the room has to be vacuumed multiple times because it does have a small trash compartment that gets full of hair really fast. Our pets are big shedders either. The motor does get hot a lot but I haven’t had an issue with it. It cleans up small debris easily and leaves my floors feeling so smooth.

Loud, motor gets really hot, horrible suction. Leaves marks on baseboards, dog fur gets stuck in little wheels and collects on the big ones. Like most bagless vacuums, the fur gets stuck in the first chamber clogging it up. Most of the 5 star reviews were from customer promotions.

This vacuum is wonderful in its first year as it has good (not excellent) suction. After that, it starts not picking up the dust very well and ends up dirtying the place where you just cleaned it. Also, the warranty is only for the motor or spining. As of today, my vacuum nozzle is no longer working properly, specifically it is no longer blocking the nozzle to sit securely on the floor. So I called Shark Warranty Service and they told me I should replace the nozzle with a new one as it does not cover this service. In other words, I should spend $90 to "fix" my problem. I regreted buying this vacuum. For the price I paid for it, I could spend more for a dyson, or even buy those cheapest vaccums.

the Shark vacuum is lightweight and extremely easy to maneuver in corners and under furniture. A second level raises the vacuum so you can go easily from hardwood to area rugs. and the price was amazing!

The thing finally died today and it has only been a year. I know it looks like a great price for a lightweight vacuum but just drop the extra money for a quality vacuum from a different brand.

Best Vacuum On The Market And Ive Tried Many Before I Found This One. Its Corded And Uktralightweight. The Fact That Its Corded Makes It More Powerful And Its A Game Changer For People With Pets. It Has Everything And More You Could Want In A Stick Vacuum. I Will Never Go Back To My Old Bissel. Would Highly Recommend This And Shark Products.

Would not recommend. Prone to clogging, overheating, and motor burned out after about a year. While it lasted, suction was probably decent for its size. It would have been good enough had it just lasted. But it didn’t and now makes for expensive throwaway.

We have three huskies that shed massively. I don’t think I ever picked up so much fur, dust and dirt before and have never gotten so excited about a vacuum before after just one use. I’m impressed so far but like others, it starts to get hot when the canister gets full and doesn’t stand up on its own in between emptying the canister which is a little annoying. Otherwise it’s absolutely amazing and gives me hope for a fur free home for at least a couple of hours. Can’t wait to try it on our car today!
