This charging stand for smartphones by Sharper Image doesn't work very well. First of all, I have to remove a metal piece that I have stuck to the back of my phone (it's for a magnetic phone holder in my car) before this charger will even work. When I do set my phone on it to charge, it seems like it takes a lot longer than if I just used the cord. It is convenient to just be able to set your phone on it, but that doesn't outweigh the long charging time. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I got my Wireless Charging stand and hooked it up to try it out. Charged my phone and I could use it while it was sitting on the stand charging. I especially like the fact that the phone can stand up or lay on its side to charge and when using the speaker I can see any picture being sent without having to put down what is in my hands to pick up and look. It is light weight and no matter where I place it, it looks nice and does not clutter up space. I like the fact that there is no wires to hook up to my phone as many times I have caught the cord and sent it to the floor. There is a light that lets you know when it is fully charged. My disappointment is that I have other phones not compatible with this charger and would have to purchase a wireless charging receiver to convert it for this stand. Really happy with this charger. It charges really quickly and was just as fast as my fastest plug-in charger. It’s nice not having to plug and unplug my phone my kids’ phones, especially with the kids not being very gentle with that process. This charger makes it easy for them to charge their phones. It took some time to get it lined up to plug it in with the usb cord because it wasn’t lined up so we had to force it witch now I can’t take it out but with that being said I don’t plan on takeing it out as for charging my phone with it it works grate just takes all day to charge if you are looking for something that would be fast to charge your phone this is not the device but it does charge them it works with an iPhone 11 witch that’s what my phone is [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I’m not sure if I got one broken one of a batch, but mine will not charge my phone. It is plugged into a working 2 amp plug, and my phone does enable wireless charging. I tried standing it horizontally and vertically, but unfortunately neither work. Wish it did before it is a great stand and would be awesome to use at this angle.
