Also has a heat setting, and a hood. My muscles are constantly tense so this massager is a pleasure to use. You can also use it on your lower back!

The heat option is great and is a nice touch to my massage. You can change the massage intensity by pulling on the arm straps. It even has a hood so you can just relax and wear it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did not find this product to be useful at all. It is very awkward and cumbersome. The rollers do not knead you, they feel like they are just bouncing off you. The hood is huge and stiff. The heat feature was nonexistent. It glows red with the heat setting but I didn’t feel any. I wanted to enjoy this product, but I didn’t. I do not recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok, so I work a job where I’m on my feet for a minimum of 6-8 hrs. By the end of the day I’m exhausted and my back is killing me. This gadget is a lifesaver! I love that it has different settings and it really does feel like a solid massage. It’s not as good as the real thing, but it’s a decent substitute. I use it all up and down my back and shoulders. The best way seems to lean back gently with it in between me and the back of my couch. If I need something to prop it up a little higher I put a pillow under it. The one thing I’ve noticed is that the heat element isn’t really strong enough to make a difference. However, being that it has a battery I can see why that may have been limited to conserve battery power. But I love that it can be charged and used cordlessly. When I work in my home office I can use it while sitting in my desk chair and it’s fantastic!

I always start out slow and work up to more deep massages with it. It has heat and the zip-on hood helps capture that heat in, engulfing your shoulders and neck in warmth. I like that it has 3 settings for each button, not too complicated to remember. The entire unit is a little heavy but it’s like you’re walking around with it. Perfect for sitting on the couch while watching some shows.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just pulling this massager out of the box and trying to lift it on my shoulders, I wasn't sure if I hadn't ordered an ox yoke by accident. This is a bulky and heavy contraption. The hand straps seem to make it even more cumbersome, and the attachable hood seems just ridiculous. Then I charged it and tried it out. Cons: i couldn't find anywhere where it says how long it's supposed to charge? Also, the buttons are a tad confusing. You have to hold down the on button for a couple seconds to actually turn it on. And it seems it turns off way too quickly. BUT: this works WONDERS for a stiff neck and back, especially with the heat turned on. DEEP massage, not for a faint of heart, but it feels awesome. Best massager I've ever had.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first, and most obvious great thing about the Sharper Image Realtouch Shiatsu massager is that it's wireless with a rechargeable battery. No wires mean a complete and tangle-free massage. The massager has loops at the end of the straps for easy control and movement to different parts of your neck, back, and even feet. The heat function is a nice feature that is effective without becoming overbearingly hot. It even comes with a removable hood for those that want a more immersive experience. The rollers are a little intense and may be too hard for smaller or petite individuals. For me though, it provides a soothing, deep massage that feels great at the end of a long day.

It effectively targets my lower neck area and it feels like someone is pushing down on your sore spots with their fingers! Likewise when I move it down to my lower back. He took it out of the box as soon as we got it and typical man tried it right away. Do yourself a favor and plug it in to charge. The manual will not tell you but there is a small light on the plug, once it’s fully charged, the light goes from red to green. It won’t get hot but it will get warm if you choose this setting. When I used it, it felt like I was in the pedicure chair. It does work and gets deep tissue also. Choose your setting. I didn’t try the neck one but my husband did he also tried it on his knee and said it helped.

This massager has hand straps to make it super easy to move the massager around where you want it at. A hood does come unattached which I did decide to attach the hood.

Skiing at 38 isn't the same as when I was in my 20's. This massager arrived just in time. The rollers dug down into my shoulders and in between my shoulder blades. The straps allow you to pull it in for a deeper tissue experience. I'm not sure that the hood is necessary, but it zips off easily. The heated feature is an added bonus. It ran for a perfect amount of time before needing to be recharged. Love this thing!
