Does not work for me as I like to air dry my hair, this makes my curls drop and my hair looks dirty/oily. I have a lot of fine curly/wavy hair. Maybe better for coarse hair. The smell is nice though.

I love shea moisture products they're all very good but I really like the coconut and hibiscus hold and shine moisture mist! It helps tame my frizzy curly hair and give it a shiny look. It helps moisturize and contains no parabens, phthalates, petrolatum or mineral oil.

I like to braid my hair for perfect waves and everytime I take the braids out, I spray this Shea Moisture spray. It literally makes the waves come alive. They get so defined, they hold so well. My boyfriend has coily hair and he uses it as well. We always have this spray in our house.

This is one of my favorite moisturizing leave in conditioners. I love how amazing it smells and how lightweight it feels on my hair. It gives a great definition to my curls and does not leave my hair feeling crunchy at all

As someone with very odd texture hair (porous, fragile, curly, frizzy) this was not a favorite of mine. I purchased it, used it for about a week and then gravitated towards other leave-in products. It left my hair a bit sticky feeling. It smells good (coconut) and is decent but not one of my staples.

Does not form a hard cast, which I love. If I choose to air dry my hair it works great, but also if I diffuse it. I have wavy (half Latina/half Caucasian ethnicity) thick hair and this is not weighed down. I put moose on and air dry for a while, then diffuse, after hair is mostly dry I add smoothie and finish with the spray. Or I’ll just air dry with the moose and use the spray for a refresh if I don’t diffuse.

I have bought this for years, so I was surprised when I sprayed it on my hair and it had no smell. Usually it is a beautiful coconut smell from the coconut oil! It also seemed less moisturizing and definitely did not work the way the old formulation worked. I wish I had known it was a different formula- I will be returning it and looking for something else. See the attached photo. On the right is the list of ingredients as they used to be-- water first, then coconut oil, etc. Now, as you can see on the left label, coconut oil is not listed until halfway down the much longer (less recognizable) ingredient list. Very disappointed this brand has changed so much!

This product is fairly good if you are thinking about having a more natural look. It is definitely not as strong as a gel or a wax hair stick, but it’s pretty good for it only being a mist. I like to use it on days when I’d like to look presentable, but don’t want to use gel because of how irritated it makes my scalp afterwards. It doesn’t leave a hard cast over my hair and I can just brush it out easily. It will make your hair look greasy afterwards so I reccomend using on wash day or near it. The packing seems pretty good, but the label starts to come off after some time (as you can see). The price point is very affordable & I would recommend this to those with straight or wavy hair (2A-2C).

So many people in the reviews are saying it makes their straight thin hair greasy. This is meant for CURLY hair, and on my curly hair it works well. It doesn’t define as much as I would like but it holds my curls and smells great
