This soap truly changed my skin. I have pretty bad hormonal acne that typically takes days to go away and is painful! After just one day of using this morning and night i noticed a difference in the severity of my acne! I’ve now been using for a few weeks and my skin has never looked better! Seriously such a game changer for me!

I first tried the coconut & hibiscus hand and body scrub and really liked it except for the fact that it comes in a jar. I wanted something in a tube - just for ease of use in the shower. I decided to try the bamboo charcoal scrub but was not impressed with the "scrub". For me, it was way to gentle - I need a scrub to remove flaky skin and this did not do the job. It feels nice - and smells nice, but I still had dry, flaky skin.

It's alright. Not a very strong smell, but pleasant. There is a light scrubbing and foaming action. If you need more scrub than this, you probably want to look at a sugar scrub or something like that, especially for elbows or heels. But this just gives a gentle sloughing to the skin.

I personally love this because it works well on my skin and really exfoliates the body. The only problem i had was squeezing the scrub out of the bottle. I don’t know if it was my room temperature that made it that way. I tried putting it in places with warm temperatures and nothing has changed. So i had actually use it with the top off. But i would definitely recommend this product to everyone, it’s great for the skin, and it exfoliates well.

I love using this scrub when I am having back acne. I use this in the shower and apply to my problem areas and let it sit until I feel it tingle. My back clears up fast when I use this daily.

I'm not completely sold on this product. I received it in my target beauty box for July. My sample size didn't come with instructions so I wet my skin applied it with my hands and it seemed to spread like lotion. There are small soft exfoliating beads in it, so for me I didn't feel like they really did anything to exfoliate my skin. I felt if I were to put it on a wash cloth or looks it wouldn't spread as well....but maybe I need to use it with an exfoliating hand mit? I could tell where my skin was absorbing it as a moisturizer as it would disappear before being rinsed off. The smell was unique. It wasn't terrible but wasn't the best smelling thing that I have used either. After rinsing it of my skin felt smooth and clean. Once I dried off I didn't see a huge moisturized difference (I did use it on one half of my body and washed my other half normally). I have used it twice, maybe I'll try with a exfoliating mit and see if that helps.

I love using this scrub for washing my face, as it leaves it oil free, smooth and feeling Wonderful. And it's all I need for my face - not several different products to achieve the results I want. Occasionally I use it as a body scrub lol but for under my arms and chest area mostly. The scent is subtle and pleasant.

I’ve beem using this body scrub for about 2 months now and it has been absolutely amazing to my skin. I use it both on my back and face, which is where I breakout the most. The poduct not only cleans my body, but also moisturizes it. It gives me the opportunity to exfoliate my skin while in the shower and remove dead skin. My face feels clean and refreshed after every wash.

What’s interesting is I thought this was just some cheap stuff my boyfriend’s sister used. She spent a weekend and left it at our place and when she moved out of state I figured, okay - she doesn’t want this. I was all out of my usual Dove soap and figured hey, why not try this scrub. It’s been in my shower for a month after all! I immediately thought “this feels like it will do nothing for me”... it’s a scrub so it does feel odd rubbing it all over my body - it doesn’t FEEL effective, but IT IS. I also had to use it on my face, and I immediately noticed how clean my skin felt. That clean rubber feeling that you think will almost definitely leave your skin dehydrated - NOPE! I as a matter of fact have used this regularly on my body as well as my face for the last 3 months. I stopped even using any primer or face lotion as this stuff keeps my face super hydrated without making my face any more oily. I have battled with acne for many years and this has not only cleared up my face, but it has also REALLY lightened up my scars. I used to not be able to use certain foundations that I find I now can use. I no longer need heavy duty “full coverage” foundation. When I ran out of hers, I was thankful I found it here because I couldn’t find it in-store anywhere. I can’t recommend it enough, especially for your face!

The African Black Soap Bamboo Charcoal Body Scrub w/ Tea tree oil is a product that took me by surprise. I have not had the best luck with Shower gels or Body Scrubs, they tend to leave my skin feeling dry. This was not the case when it came to this product. I knew from when it first came out the tube it was going to be different. This product not only cleans my body, but also moisturizes it. I have taken a huge liking to the beads that are included in the scrub, giving me the opportunity to exfoliate while in the shower. If you’re not huge on bar soaps, then I would highly recommend this product.

This body scrub left my skin feeling smooth and refreshed. The scent of the Tea Tree oil is very refreshing; and is a great bonus to a steaming hot shower. The Bamboo and Charcoal allowed me to exfoliate my skin and restore it back to a soft, natural, beautiful, melanin glow. I am really satisfied with this product and I am definitely adding it to my shower routine.

I really like this product. After use my skin feels really smooth and I can feel a noticeable difference. It is also a very moisturizing product. We have hard water and I'm usually EXTREMELY dry and ashy after showering. With this product, I was only a little ashy but I didn't feel dry at all. I do wish the scrubbing beads were a bit larger only because I'm a little rough on my skin and like the rough exfoliation feeling. I also don't really care for the smell, it smells like bubblegum to me. Overall I would recommend.

I really like this product. I think the scrub really works to remove the dead skin your body. This is for your body only not your face. If you use it on your face it will burn. So I don’t recommend it. But if you use it on your body you will see your skin glow afterward and a decrease is blemishes as well.
Overall a decent scrub.
