This intensive hydration hair masque infuses hair with a powerful dose of moisture and nutrients. This deep conditioning hair treatment masque is made with Shea Butter, and Mafura and Baobab Oils that are blended with antioxidant-rich African Rock Fig to restore and lock in moisture while deeply conditioning. Smoothes and fortifies follicles for stronger, healthier, frizz-free hair. This hair masque blends certified organic Shea Butter, Honey, and Mafura and Baobab Oils with antioxidant-rich African Rock Fig to restore and lock in moisture. As is the case with all SheaMoisture hair products, this intensive hydration hair masque is formulated with no sulfates, no parabens, no phthalates, no mineral oil, no animal testing, and no petrolatum. To use: Section clean, wet hair. Apply this deep conditioner generously. Use a wide tooth comb to distribute this hair product evenly from root to ends. Leave in for 5 minutes. Rinse thoroughly. For extra conditioning, cover hair with a plastic cap. Apply moderate heat for up to 30 minutes. When using a steamer, do not cover hair. Moist heat will add to the masque's hydration. Due to scalp sensitivites, I'm stuck so far with Vanicream shampoo and conditioner. I wanted to find a conditioner treatment to restore the moisture lacking from the Vanicream products. Nice for curly hair
I have long, dry, curly hair and this has helped bring moisture back into it. I will use this about once a month. It smells good, and overall pretty good ingredients. It helps my hair to look shiny and healthy again, as well as get my curls looking good. I usually get the packets and there is enough product for my thick and long hair. The only downfall about the packets is it can get messy trying to get all of the product out of it.

Smelly
To be fair, I did the 30 minute treatment so the smell might not set in if you only do this for a few minutes in the shower, but it’s been over 24 hours and my hair still smells like this. I tried co-washing it out with my normal conditioner and it’s still there. The scent is pretty grandmotherly and artificially floral, which I don’t love and especially don’t want on my head for a long time.

Doesn't really hydrate much.
Im 33 with long, lower back length hair. It's fine/soft in feel and texture and knots up easily no matter what I do. My hair isnt really wavy or straight, but Id definitely say mkre straight. It does get frizzy sometimes, especially in humid weather. With that said...This stuff smells weird. It has floral scents but also an almost smokey scent, too. My hair doesn't feel super extra conditioned after this. While its thick and creamy, it doesn't weigh my hair down. But I also feel like it doesn't really do what it says. I wouldn't buy again.
