I found this on and recognized the brand from a truly magical shampoo n Conditioner I purchased for my grandson and the result were just as amazing and affordable what a diamond in the dirt! I lost so much hair after covid and this here was a game changer. When I apply this I don't see as much breakage, smells great and safe.

Love love love!!! I use the straighter every single day, 2x a day. Before using the product, I was applying Tressame heat protection. It left my hair was very brittle, stiff, split ends and notice it wasn'tthe product I needed.. I decided to chop off my hair, (12inches off), to start fresh. I saw the hype of the Sheamoisture products, so I bought this one back in April 2022. 4 months later, I see the usual hair growth, but I also have noticed that hair ends stayed thick, shines, healthy and NO split ends! I apply a quater size after im done wetting my hair, but only to the ends as if it was mousse. If I apply above the ends, it leaves my hair feeling lotioned up when it drys. So just the ends is enough.

I’m not a fan of hair spray at all, I don’t like the stickiness, I don’t like it getting on my face, I don’t like a lack of control over how much product gets distributed into my hair. I like this product because even though it’s a cream-type formula, it gives some hold to to my styles without weighing them down. It’s advertised as a heat protectant, but I like to put it in my hair before I do any heatless hair styles as well. I’m not the biggest fan of the smell, but it isn’t strong or overpowering. Overall a pretty good product for the price and accessibility.

I love this styling lotion when I use it directly out of the shower. I use a dime size amount, rake it through the ends up to the roots and then comb it through and wrap my hair up. Most leave in conditioners are too heavy for my hair but this is so lightweight! It moisturizes my hair and even after styling and using hot tools, it feels soft and moisturized and looks great! I haven’t noticed much as far as hair strengthening or growth but even without that, this product is amazing for moisture. The only downside is the smell. It smells kind of like a vanilla scented play dough. It’s not bad, but could be better.

This stuff and the whole Shea moisture line are transforming my hair. I put a little bit of this in with some Argan oil and emulsify together and put on my hair after styling it. My hair feels so good. It doesn’t take much and doesn’t weigh it down.

Unfortunately, our local Target stopped carrying this lotion. I'm happy it's still available online. This is an excellent product from the Shea Moisture brand. It is perfect if you are looking for a lightweight styling lotion that will not weigh down your strands. I sometimes will use it during the summer months when I'm not looking for a heavy amount of coverage. My son loves this lotion and it's the only one he will use on his curls. I prefer to stick to products both me and my boys can use. This one is a keeper. My favorite part is a little goes a long way with this product. Just a little water and a small amount of the lotion and your good to go at least for a day or two. It does not seem to hold the curls for too long after the second day. But that is to be expected with such a lightweight product. If your looking for a longer hold, I recommend the leave in conditioner. This lotion is a staple at my house and I will keep ordering it as long as its available.

I finally used the product that made a noticeable difference in my hair. This styling lotion has saved me in the past during beach vacations when my dry, curly, frizzed out hair went wild. I was so thankful I had it with me. I had been trying other brands/ products when I remembered this styling lotion. It has rescued me again from my very dry, unmanageable hair! This lotion strengthens hair and gives me better curl formation. I still need some gel to hold but this is great underneath and does give me some curl formation. I use it for 2nd day hair and so on. I love a versatile product like this that I can use on both wet and dry hair. The smell isn’t great but the product is and it’s worth it to me. Some people said my hair smelled like Brewsters waffle cones:) That’s better than I thought it would be! This is a great product if you have very dry, breaking, unmanageable hair.

I wanted to love this product. It did make my hair soft and shiny. But a combination of using this and the shampoo/conditioner has caused a lot of hair loss and thinning of my hair. Way more than normal. My normally thick hair is almost 50% what is used to be in only a couple months. The texture of my hair has also changed. I have never had this happen from a brand before and I’ve tried many over the years. Even if this particular line doesn’t work for my hair type it still shouldn’t cause this my hair loss/thinning in anyone’s hair. I hope it doesn’t happened to anyone else!

I use this instead of hairspray after curling my hair and it doesnt make it feel all sticky. That’s probably not what it’s supposed to be used for but it works great for me.
