Q: Does the umbrella open and close with the button? Instead of having to use some effort closing it like standard umbrellas?

A: The umbrella completely opens and partially closes at the push of the button. For closing, the canopy collapses so you can easily get into a car or a door, but you still have to push to get it completely shut. We still haven't found a way to develop an umbrella that COMPLETELY opens and closes automatically that would cost less than $100, but we're working on it! John from ShedRain

Q: 1) What's the coverage of umbrella? 2) Is it printed right here and I'm overlooking the info?

A: Hi and thanks for your question! No, you didn't miss anything....Target doesn't put coverage measurements on the site. The umbrella you looked at is basically a 43" arc from tip to tip. That's "standard" for US umbrellas (some of ours are as small as 38"). If you're looking for something bigger, I'd suggest you put this Target style in the search box: 061000953. This is has all the same functions as the one you're considering, but is a 55" arc. It opens almost as big as a Golf Umbrella, but still folds down. Hope this helps! John from ShedRain

One of the arms broke the first time opening it. It is not “as easy as pressing a button” like the tag says, Inless I couldn’t find it. Semi hard to close and open. Overall super cheap quality for the price.

One of the pieces to the bottom (open/close) detached, so it was almost impossible to close. When I finally could close it, the entire open/close came apart and is useless. I only used it twice. I also did not like that my hand did not easily go through the loop to carry it, because the material is stiff.

It's little heavy but we had to return it because it's really hard to close it!!
It was for my son, but there was no way he could close it. I tried, and I had hard time, too. I had to try 4 or 5 times.

Umbrella has an easy open function which is nice to use one handed. We used this at Disneyland however in a giant downpour and the umbrella leaked. We’ve had cheaper ones that have worked better. Ok for light rain.
