Tiffany, who was born, built his business and home, and died in the New York City area, is best known for his stained glass windows and lamps, as well as jewelry, ceramics, metalwork, and enamels. Today, Tiffany's work is highly prized and can still be seen in the interior of the Mark Twain House in Hartford, Connecticut, in the American Church in Paris, France, and in the Arlington Street Church in Boston, Massachusetts.
