I don’t understand the bad reviews. This chair is easy to set up and take down. It’s saves so much room! It’s half the size of a regular folding chair while folded but the same size as a full chair once it’s set up! LOVE IT! I understand with anything there could be defects but for me so far so good :)

Chair is VERY comfortable and easy to set up. Bought to replace standard folding camping chairs that were being used for watching kids sports for extended periods. Heavier than the camping chair, but not too heavy to carry as an out of shape soccer mom. Would recommend.

I bought this chair for a 3 day music festival since my old chairs had seen better days. Firstly, it was a breeze to set up and take down, much easier than a sack chair. Second, security was so easy to get through without being in a carry sack, I basically was waved through. Third, and best of all, it was so much more comfortable and stable than my other chairs. It was kind of fun seeing people's reactions to how quickly I could set it up and fold it right back down as they fought to get theirs back in their bags. The only drawback is thatiIt is quite a heavy chair to carry though. I'm going to put a shoulder strap on it for future uses.

I returned the chairs because they were heavier than I wanted for traveling in my camper. I ordered them online. Also the back was not as tall as I would like. The fold out table was nice. It was an awkward way to fold up the chairs too. Just not the chairs for my situation.

Sierra Designs camping Director chair is perfect for camping or even for a beach visit. It’s of great quality and very stable. It’s on the heavier side. So for a person like me it’s heavy but my husband doesn’t find it so heavy. It’s foldable and we can put it in our car so easily and take it when we go camping or to beach. I love the tray with the cup holder. The design is great. Very durable. The fabric quality is great. It doesn’t sag when I sit and it’s pretty firm. It’s one of my favorite camping chairs!

We chose this chair as a replacement for a 20-yeare-old chair that failed during a Mother's Day picnic. The set-up was easy for me, but I used to be a AF jet mechanic, so maybe it's not fair to compare my experience. I set it up in the store, and got it ready to be sat upon in one try. The printed directions are great, and the illustrations help. It was a bit pricey, but it might last as long as I will need it.
