Sierra Designs Flagstaff 4L Hydration Pack - Black

Had this for 2 years now and can confidently say it’s a great purchase. It has a 2L bladder in it which is perfect for my length of hikes, 1-6 miles at a time. I can even put in a book and quart size bag of trail mix when full. Definitely a great purchase for a casual hiker.

Misleading title, ONLY 2L water storage though it is a 4L “volume” pack.. other reviewers stated this and I checked the details of the description as well, which states this. Completely misleading so 1 star, but otherwise saw this in stores and has good space to hold your water and other extra essentials you may need.

Really annoyed because my kid is headed out tomorrow on a camping trip and was told to bring a 4L bladder. Just arrived and it’s 1/2 that, too late to exchange

Have never owned one of these, had this one over a year now. This water backpack is awesome! I use it every day at work, it reminds me to drink and I don’t have to worry about losing it in the shop. It’s even more handy out in the wild. Pretty easy to clean. I recommend for daily use.

Leaks within 30 days of purchase. Had higher expectations, unfortunately this didn’t last long.

I’ve had other bags this size and brands have been more strategic with storage and places to put things. This bag literally has nothing.

It’s not 4L like in description it’s only 2L

It worked well for a little bit until the spout broke after 2 hours of usage. Really disappointing.

bought it as a gift for my spouse on father's day. It was an online order and didn't notice that it missed an important part. It leaks all the water out due to that. otherwise, it works fine.

This Sierra hydration pack leaked immediately.

I barely write any reviews. This bag looks decent. Water tastes like plastic, especially the first couple of sips when you hike or cycling under the sun.

I've used this quite a bit over the last year and it has held up well. It says not to wash it in the washing machine, but I do, no issues yet. It works great for mountain biking and hiking. The little pockets are handy for phones, granola bars, keys, etc. The biggest down side is it doesn't work for running, it bounces way too much when running. Oddly enough I never notice it even on the roughest trails on my mountain bike. So if you are hiking or riding this is a great choice, especially considering the next best option is 3x the price or more. If you are running, I would look elsewhere. Another con that isn't a big deal, the bladder isn't super easy to clean or dry. Some more expensive bags have easy to clean and dry bladders.

It is a nice back pack. It is definitely comfortable and easy to drink from while hiking. However, after using it only one time, the front bungee strap broke. I had only put chapstick and a car key in the front pocket so it was no where near full. Disappointed because it makes it difficult to use the front compartment now. The trip I bought it for is in four days so I will still be using it but I definitely wish the front pocket had lasted a little longer.

I ordered this because it was advertised that it can hold 4liters of water but the bladder only holds 2liters. The sticker says flagstaff 4L. But it also says volume 5L. So they really need to relabel this as 2liters.

Great for our little last minute adventures!!

This is a great starter hydration pack. It holds enough water to maintain my walks and hikes, as well as a snack, keys, phone, and cash/card if necessary. The only thing I don't like is that the straw spout doesn't have a cover. Adding a covering to the spout would be a positive improvement and one I would have paid a little more to have as well.

It leaked first use. I’m returning it immediately.
