Silicone Sphere Ice Tray with Lid - Room Essentials™

Love the sphere shape. Finally got most of the hole to take full shape. Not bad for a few bucks. Just fun to use here and there.

About half of them came out as spheres while the other half were partials. I’ve used it three times now and it’s okay but nothing spectacular. If the spheres were larger, they would be more effective, as they’d have less surface area and melt more slowly, thus chilling your drinks without diluting them as much. At this size, they melt quickly and it’s much easier to do regular ice cubes so unless you want to pre-freeze a bunch for a party because the little spheres are cute, I’d spring for a larger spherical ice cube tray. Also, not having a tray or anything (as the silicone water-bottle-ice does) means this must be placed on a flat surface in your freezer or the silicone squishes in.

I don’t understand how to get round ice. Only two of mine are round the rest flat on the top. Not for me.

These ice cube trays are the bomb. I have a filtered water spout next to the regular spout in my kitchen so, I just filled up the bottom, put the lid on, and the next morning had perfect ice. I didn't care if a little water spilled out since it was in my sink. Definitely do NOT try to fill through the hole. That's not why it's there. Photo is from 2 trays and I was able to use in 4-5 drinks before I needed to remake ice.

This is really useful if you have a water bottle with a straw like a Hydroflask. The straw is able to go in tween the ice easily, so it isn’t hard to put the lid on. I bought the pink one btw

You really do have to fill it all the way up and gently close it together, but it does make perfect little balls of ice. Just takes a little pratice.

I love it. The ice tray works perfect but you HAVE to learn how to use it. You must the fill the bottom tray full with water not just the circles, the whole tray must be full. Once full, place the top part with the wholes until you snap it in place, excess water may be released. Once used correctly it works perfectly. I made the mistake a few times of trying to fill the rest of the tray through the tiny wholes and that does not work. You can also search for a video, I did and it helped me understand how I had to fill it. I purchased a second one. I tried to take a photo of the tray filled with water for others to see how full it must be. The spheres are small but if you don’t mind, they are super cute for drinks or cocktails. For the price I think is perfect and the pink is super cute, matches my kitchen.

I read reviews that the holes are too small for putting the water inside so my paranoia led me to make the holes slightly bigger but I only did this for 2 rows. I filled the bottom portion almost to the top pushed the top piece down so it closed when a bit of water over flowed and got on my counter which is the ONLY con. I let them freeze in my mini work fridge over night today i peeled off the top mold piece and they are all perfect circles! Perf for my ice coffee at work and my small freezer section of the fridge since we do not have an ice maker :) DON'T be like me and listen to the reviews about the holes. Just fill the bottom mold up and place maybe a towl under for the spillage.

It’s cute. It works. It’s not absolutely amazing but it does work. You have to fill it up entirely with water and not use the small holes. Trying to add a video.

I think people think you need to fill the water through the tiny holes in the mold.. you don’t. You fill the entire tray with water and then put the other half on tightly. The mold has higher sides and the water fill in, creating a sphere! They work perfectly! May go snag a few other molds.

I like it! A lot. My kids like it too.

The holes in this are entirely too small to fill.
