Great Protein Option for Soy Milk Drinkers
Most of the negative reviews seem to be complaints that this is soy milk. Soy milk has been my non-dairy go to for years for coffee. This a great product to add more protein to my breakfast without sacrificing the taste or texture of my lattes. Please keep carrying this item.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Silk Original Protein Vanilla milk was actually quite tasty for being plant based. I decided to try it plain because I wanted to be able to taste the entire flavor profile, but my kids enjoyed it with chocolate too! The appearance looked like a creamy milk color. I think any other milk that isn’t cows milk is always off color, but tastes better and is better for you. The packaging is very eye catching with the vibrant blue color and white font describing exactly what you can do with their product. I found it to be a little on the pricier side of other similar products on the market. So, it depends really on what you’re looking for in a milk. If the nutritional value this offers you means more than the price won’t matter, but if you’re looking to stay within a budget, there are alternatives.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Silk Protein Milk tastes just like the original and has the added protein. I love to have it with cereal or in a smoothie. I’m on a weight loss journey and I’m trying to get more protein in. This makes it super easy. There doesn’t seem to be any difference in consistency or texture than regular silk milk. It’s definitely better for me to use an alternative milk since I am lactose intolerant. So this helps me feel like I’m indulging.

It was a smooth consistency and gave me extra protein! This milk lasted me about one week in the fridge. Would love to try the chocolate flavor next!

Smooth and Tasty
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Original Silk Protein is good substitute for milk. It has 13 grams of plant based protein and is 50 percent less sugar. It also has 9 essential amino acids and 3 grams of fiber. I do think the taste is good. The smell of it isn't what I particular like but doesnt bother me. I do sometimes drink almond milk and this one is smooth and creamy. I do like the texture and smoothness of it. I think it is good for those that are lactose intolerant. All you have to do is shake before pouring and keep it refrigerated.

The texture is smooth and creamy without being too thick and the flavor is mild with just the right amount of sweetness - no overpowering ‘beany’ taste like some soy milks have. I appreciate the added protein as it’s difficult for me sometimes to get all of my protein. It’s dairy free, lactose free and reduced sugar yet still smells great and tastes great! It also has a longer shelf life than regular milk which I appreciate!

Why change an awesome product?
This generations version of the “New Coke,” aka why mess with a great product. The original protein milk tasted great, didn’t have a bunch of sugar, wasn’t so high in calories, and soy wasn’t an issue. Soy is not great for people who have had breast cancer making the original protein milk an ideal solution all the way around. We would buy multiple containers and search for it if needed. Now we’re going to another brand and have abandoned Silk products. Please consider bringing it back!!

There’s a slight graininess but it’s so subtle and doesn’t bother my husband and I because it tastes natural. I prefer the taste of this over their almond milk and could chug this unlike most other drinks. Easy way to get some protein intake and enjoy it, highly recommend trying.

Its fine, but not great or a good value
Silk has changed their protein plant based milk so many times I feel fatigued buying it. The almond protein was much better and the cashew protein was even better than that one. Save yourself some money and buy regular soy milk it still has a lot of protein naturally. This is just marketing. This product is way too overpriced. Not to mention it is “shrinkflated”. The bottle is only 48oz instead of the standard 64oz. I would not pay more than $3 for it and they’re charging $6. I’ll be sticking to regular generic soy or almond milk from here out. Sill lost out on a consistent customer here and I can only imagine others as well. The flavor profile here is a little bland and texture is thick and gritty with the soy protein powder being added to it as well as it just being soy milk which many do not enjoy. It also has quite a bit of added sugar. So not that healthy.
