The items were packaged securely. The problem is the item. The frame was not held together well. The actual front of the frame had places where the wood chipped and you could see the natural wood instead of the black. It came broken in the box, sadly. So I then returned it to a store. I got it home & had to windex every single nook & cranny, there were fingerprints everywhere! Sadly, the frames came chipped, revealing the wood under the black paint. The back of the frame to hold the picture in place was bowed out, since the frame is a gallery frame it is visible . Not pleased with the overall product.
