Our first set of foxy was purchased in 2014 for my son born in December. The first two have been his constant companions since birth. He still has the first two but they are getting worn down considerably. The arms and the blanket it self we haven’t had any problems with and are still in decent shape. The head which gets the most love and attention is worn down. The head began falling off last year at about three years of use. The nose is worn off from being rubbed so much. Eskimo kisses. We have sawn the heads back on and they still are with our son nightly. We just recently purchased two additional foxys as eventual replacements they are just as nice as the originals.
I think we have three of these.... He goes everywhere with us and is my son's comfort. They machine wash and dry and considering all that they are put through I have been happy with their life-span. One the head is falling off but that has been his primary for well over a year...
We know this guy as “Foxy” in our house. My oldest son grew an attachment to it at 6mo...he’s now almost 2 and takes it everywhere with him. Bought 2 more as backup. Foxy is super durable and still stays soft after a million and a half washes. He’s like part of the family now and my son currently tries to feed him his food (thus the million and a half washes).
