These eggs have a lot going on. Bought a few for Christmas / Birthday presents and was pleasently surprised how many activites there were. Us parents must have played with the puzzle eggs for longer than we would like to admit. A hit for 7 year old boys for sure and even the younger brothers.

A lot of poor quality odds and ends appearing to be made from scrap plastic straight off the factory floor. They're attempting to dress this up as some exciting, dinosaur Russian nesting doll-esque treasure egg, but in reality, the "toys" are too small to even play with after being discovered. The plastic eggs are impossible for children to rebuild. The items included aren't worth the cost of a bootleg DVD of the original Jurassic Park. The foam and slime felt as if they themselves were on the verge of extinction; it was like sifting sand in Ancient Egypt. I wanted a Pterodactyl, not a sarcophagus. The eggs were OK as far as the dig-ability of them. that being said, I don't spend hundreds of dollars on toys every birthday and holiday to be met with an "OK" product. Before they are thrown on the floor 5 minutes later and ignored until I throw them away 3 months later, I need to be getting "NOT TOO SHABBY" reviews at the least. Solid 2.4/10

My kids have been begging me to get these for months. Finally, I "cracked" and got them for Christmas. All that anticipation for a dinosaur, slime, and a random assortment of other things that disappointed them and me. They're absolutely not worth full price, and if you're lucky it will entertain your kid for more than 5 minutes. If you're not lucky......it takes up more space in the garbage than it should..

We purchased this for a 6 and 8 year old. The poackaging itself created lots of excitement from both kids. They love the dinasour head and the size of the egg (larger than a standard football). After cracking open the giant Dino egg, it has many other "surprises" to open & crack (little eggs with tiny dinasours) which the kids really loved. In fact, it is possible they could have put anthing in those little eggs ands they would have been excited just cracking surprise after surprise. The added bonus for them was the kinetic sand! Presentation, festiveness and overall hit for the 6 - 8 year old age group makes this item easy to recommend.

My kids love these toys where you have to dig for treasure. In this particular egg, you get a few buried trinkets and then various parts that you can put together to make a dinosaur. Good quality and good value, especially on sale!

Overpriced for what it is. The slime is insanely sticky, the foam is just foam balls that don’t stick together and go everywhere, tons of plastic waste. My 8 year old son really wanted it but even he was disappointed. Definitely not worth the price.
