Soho Air-Tight Mixed Media Palette 23-Wells (5X9 Mix Area)

Few palettes provide such useable space and ease of use as the Soho Airtight Mixed Media Palette. PERFECTLY DIVIDED AREA FOR MIXING AND COLORING. It features two 8x12” palettes; both a color well (the bottom) and mixing palette (Top). The bottom has 23 raised, slanted color wells and a 5x9” mixing area in the middle. The top has a raised, unobstructed mixing area and a 5x9” inside area with raised edges for working with fluid colors. The palette is constructed of ABS plastic, which is solvent resistant for use with oil colors. This allows oil painters to use turpentines and mixing mediums containing solvents without harming the palette and allows for cleaning with solvents. For acrylic colors you can easily clean by just peeling off dried acrylic. The palette is equally welcoming to watercolors providing lots of space and the ability to use both small and large brushes. Use with Turner Palette Cleaner to keep palette looking like new after each use. You may also use for Alcohol Ink and cleaners without any harm to the palette. AIRTIGHT FOR STORING MIXTURES AND COLORS. When closed the palette features a special SDF pliable spleen that acts like a gasket to keep the interior airtight. This allows your acrylic colors to stay wet between paint sessions. For longer open time of your acrylics add a small, damp natural sponge to the interior. In addition to this, the palette is freezer safe so you can put it in the freezer to prolong the life of your oil colors between painting sessions. Easy to travel with too!
