I'm temporarily relocated for work, and I needed cheap, easy furniture for my apartment. I was attracted to the Soho because of it's simple design, as all I was looking for was a laptop surface because it's hot and I'm tired of using my lap. Totally gets the job done. One recommendation I have is to sit high at the desk. The surface is very no frills and the edges are sharp so if you sit low it cuts into your wrists. It's really light and easy to move around the room, too, which is a plus when you're figuring out your layout. I'd buy it again.
Bought this desk for my 20 y.o. son to replace a smaller computer desk. He is in college and needed more room . He had no issues putting it together. He loves it and it looks great in his room. Great price and good quality.
Simple, yet effective, but leaves something to be desired

It's hard to find a simple desk that looks good and this one almost hits all the checkmarks. The aesthetic is simple and provides plenty of space to stow a desktop and a couple monitors. And it's stable enough so as long as you place it on a level surface. The area where it falls short is with its materials. The top particle board is no different than what you get from lower cost particle board furniture. I can easily see the paint and laminate peeling and wearing away after a year of regular use. Assembly was straightforward and required only a screwdriver.
Overall, if you need a simple desk with plenty of surface space, this is a perfectly fine option.
