Q: Descriptions states no latex backing but also states in another section that there is latex backing. I have a latex allergy and would like to know which is true before purchasing.

A: Hello B - Great question! The specifications are correct, but the description is wrong. The rug is made of 100% jute and the backing is made of cotton. Please note the 2’x3’ accent size doesn’t have a backing. The other sizes (2’4”x7’ runner, 5’x7’, 7’x10’, and 9’x12’) have a backing. Thanks for asking. - Lakeisha

This is a beautiful rug! The quality makes it appear to be more expensive than it is. The color is just gorgeous. It is primarily a lovely shade of French blue, with some navy threads running throughout. The navy is more noticeable on the tassels at each end. This look and color coordinates well with the existing rug under the table in our breakfast nook, the white cabinetry, and the honey oak flooring. I would highly recommend this rug. Scarlet and Blue also give it a paws up!

The rug itself is beautiful. The color was perfect for my decor and it’s a thick material. This runner was in my vacation home. When we returned to the house about 2 months after purchasing it the runner had mold all over it. Interestingly the same style rug that was a few feet away was perfectly fine.

I was hesitant about this rug based in other reviews, but I love it! It’s the perfect neutral blue and it’s great for a high traffic area. Mine is in a darker hallway so I can’t speak on it fading in the sunlight, but mine hasn’t been shedding and I vacuum it regularly. It is not a soft feel rug, it more on the rough side, but I like this as it’s kind of my door rug.

Beautiful rug, but not long lasting. After one year, the fringe is looking extremely tattered. The rug was in our bedroom under our bed (relatively low traffic). I wish they made this with the fringe!

When I saw this rug I fell in love with the color. I was nervous because I ordered a Jute rug from Magnolia. The rug was really rough and had sharp pieces of wood in the rug. This rug has some texture and it does shed a little. But it is surprisingly soft.

It’s a thick rug with a rug liner built in so you don’t have to put a rug pad if you don’t want to. The color blue is muted (faded like it suggested) but nice for a pop of color in our gray, beige and Creme scheme. It has a lot of knots and parts the show where they tied the jute throughout the middle. If you somehow touch those areas for awhile, you will see the natural color of the jute underneath due it was dyed.

The color was not as faded as it shows but it is still a nice color so no complaints about that. I was surprised when I pulled it out, it looks like a synthetic rug even though it is made from jute. It has a shiny look to it and doesn't feel like my other jute rugs but It's for my laundry room so it still works for me and honestly for the price I shouldn't complain.

Love this rug! Excellent, heavy duty quality. We put it in our mudroom and it’s exactly what I was looking for. It’s a little thicker than most rugs, though, so it wouldn’t work if a door swings over it. I originally bought the runner and encountered the issue with the thickness, so I switched to the smallest rug and it’s perfect.
