FanFan the Fawn is the first fawn made using 100% natural rubber from rubber tree latex and food-grade paint. It draws baby's gaze by way of the dark, highly contrasted spots all over its body and becomes a familiar, reassuring object that is easily recognised. Featuring a whistle, Fanfan entertains baby, and develops baby's sense of hearing while helping to establish the relationship of cause to effect. Flexible with several chewable parts (ears, legs, etc.), it is perfectly suited to help soothe baby's gums when getting first teeth. Because it is made from 100% natural rubber and 100% food-grade paint, it is completely safe for baby. It is lightweight and perfectly suited for baby's little hands and its long legs make it easy to hold. The texture of 100% natural rubber reminds baby of the softness of mother's skin and reassures baby. The pleasant and unique smell of 100% rubber lends the toy its own character that helps baby to recognise it amongst other toys.
I don't understand why people pay so much for this toy. My grandmother told me to buy it so I did but it has a hole in the mid section of it and it's meant to be a tether so it gets into baby's mouth. I hate that I can't sanitize or really wash it all that well. But my son likes it like he likes his other teethers so I just have to take care of it.
Great alternative/addition to the giraffe. Purchased because our giraffe was subject to the mildew-y inside after being loved by the first child. 5 mo. Old loves it and has no problem finding an angle to gnaw on it. Both kids have loved these toys.
Pretty useless. Too large for even a 5 month old or any baby for that matter to hold on to let alone actually fit in their mouth. My little girl really enjoyed the squeaky sound & got excited every time I would hand it to her, then she just got frustrated & overwhelmed after holding it for more than a few minutes. I think we can all agree on the outrageous price. Cute design & nice velvety texture, but not worth the money. No rubber toy should be more than 10$. We've returned it.
My baby girl loves this toy! Her eyes are drawn to it and she likes putting it on her gums. Keeps her happy for a long time while she's in her sit me up. She giggles at the noise when squeezed. I wasn't crazy about the price but it's worth it to see her so happy. My son had Sophie the giraffe and he loved it. Good quality products.
At first I thought this was just an overpriced teether. But now it is my son's favorite toy. It took him a while to get used to, but now it can keep him busy for quite a while. The legs are the perfect size for his back gums without causing him to choke (and he has a strong gag reflex). it's also perfect because it is easy for my son to manipulate and chew on any part. And it squeaks, which my son finds amusing. Definitely recommend this!
