A: Hi Amber - this items is not dishwasher safe. To clean, wipe surface clean with a damp cloth. Make sure the water never gets trapped in the squeaker hole. Do not submerge in water, sterilize, boil, or put in the dishwasher. To prevent trapped moisture inside Sophie, cover squeaker hole while cleaning. Our all-natural rubber has similar rules to a toothbrush. One baby, one Sophie! It is normal for the food-grade dye to fade overtime with use.

Silicone is ripping apart now that my three month begin using it. The color is fading on the parts she chews on the most. I only hand wash it. My baby loves it but really isnt worth the price. I bought her a cheaper teether called kiki the elephant and its also the same silicone seems to be cheap will be returning both.

It's a good toy, has various textures and parts for the baby to grab and chew on. I was surprised to find that it is a squeaky toy. I'd imagine it would intrigue a dog as much as a baby. My baby has not been too interested in it yet but she's only 4 months and might need it more later when her teeth are coming. I think it's a good product but not as great as the hype behind it.

When looking at toys for my baby, I was really skeptical of all the people saying how wonderful Sophie was. Once my baby was introduced to Sophie I quickly saw for myself how amazing she is and how much he loves holding and teething on her. He loves hearing her squeak too! I bought another one just in case something happens to it. 10/10 recommend

I didn’t know what the big deal was with this specific giraffe but my baby had a different one that started ripping and he loved it so I thought this might be worth it. It’s really nice material and smells good! I did a little research and there’s a lot that goes into making these and that’s all accounted for in the price. I think it was worth it!

I was really excited about this toy before my son was born because I thought it was so cute. He was never really interested in it. My biggest issue is the smell. It smells like cheap dog toy plastic. For the price I wouldn't recommend it. You can find a lot better teethers that are less expensive.

My baby LOVES this, but after about a month of use it appears the color might be wearing off, and it’s cracking.. we haven’t had it in harsh conditions, only hand washed, and none of the other teethers have done this. Disappointed that it was so expensive and didn’t last longer.

Cute, lightweight. Easy for my daughter to hold, she started teething early so this is a good little chewie for her. I am disappointed that the paint has already started coming off on the ears. She's only had it for a couple days and it very gentle with it and yet the paint is rubbing off. I happen to get it on sale so at least I didn't pay full price, but definitely a draw back.

Seems well made but my baby had no interest in this. He tried it a couple of times but much prefers the cheaper nuby teethers. We also have the smaller version of this that looks like two semi circles and he also doesn't use that at all. Would recommend cheaper and chillable teethers before trying this expensive one.

My daughter was having intolerable teething pains that Tylenol nor ibuprofen would help. She wanted to hold her and chew on her at all hours of the day. Even now, at 12 months, she still loves her Sophie! Would recommend to ANYONE as a baby shower gift, or a just because gift!

Within few months it got torn. How can such an expensive toy without my child using it much or chewing onto it gets torn. You should definitely work on your quality for selling such an expensive chewing toy.

So my 7 month old enjoys this for both chewing and for swinging it around. After purchasing it I saw all the news articles about how because this has a “squeaker,” it is prone to mold even if you clean it as directed (wipe down, don’t submerge). Wish I knew before buying because to be replaced “monthly” as pediatricians recommend is pretty hefty when other chews (banana, keys, etc) are just as good. Baby loves my Casetify phone case (cleaned thoroughly before giving) and while that’s an outrageous price for a baby toy it’s lasted a while, is non toxic, and doesn’t develop mold. If this didn’t have a squeaker/mold issue I would love this price.
