Q: What size is box? In order to transport in car.
A: I picked it up from Target and put it in the back of my Toyota Highlander with the seats down. It fit just fine.

submitted byPeter - 2 years agoA: I put mine in a Chrysler 300. I bought some bongie cords from target to the the trunk down. Also I had to let my back seats down from the trunk.

The recommended tools and materials are a tape measure, wood board (scrap), sawhorse or support table, hammer or mallet, safety glasses, step ladder (8ft.), two of each (7/16", 1/2", 9/16" and 3/4") wrench or socket set. A: The recommended tools and materials are a tape measure, wood board (scrap), sawhorse or support table, hammer or mallet, safety glasses, step ladder (8ft.), two of each (7/16", 1/2", 9/16" and 3/4") wrench or socket set. If you choose to use a socket set, we recommend deep well sockets and an extension.

Q: Is it too big for 5ft kids to dunk on.
A: You can do dunk like activities, but we recommend no excessive hanging on the rim.

submitted bySpalding - 3 years agoBrand expertA: Get a sawhorse or two, lay the pole on the sawhorses and flip the base on end (vertically) to then screw into the pole. Much easier.

Q: Does this hoop have the break away rim?
A: Yes. It does have a breakaway/spring that allows the hoop to "breakaway" or flex when you dunk.

Q: What is the warranty from the manufacturer? What does it cover and what does it not cover
A: Our Spalding 50" Polycarbonate Portable Basketball Hoop comes with a limited 5-year warranty on the backboard and a 1-year warranty on all other parts. Q: I'll need to make it small to fit through a walkway. Can the rim adjust all the way down?

Q: what's are the parts called at the bottom of the rim the two that hold the rim up
